I thought that piercing damages the chasis more and concussion damages other components more?

'Tis what I thought, but that was apparently disproved in Click's RA2 Mythbusters topic.

The mace's collision mesh protects the extenders better than irons.

Concussion deals more damage to components, so is better against higher-piercing but lower-concussion components.

Well this is the bot that's caused me soo much pain recently, absolution:

Now, it's still not quite done, I'd like to tweak a few things still, but I probably will have to wait another day to do that and I want to show you guys it now
Yep, there's 24 maces and 24 razors on 4 HPZ's on absolution. It hasn't havoked in the 3 matches it's played and in testing, and it's quite stable (I'm gonna tweak the weapons a little bit more though to make it completely stable, it turns to one side ATM)

Ofcourse, there are weaknesses. Namely plastic armour and normal tek drive.
However, it managed to beat clockwork hydra, malestrom and karnage in SC3 without these weaknesses being exploited.

You're missing a mace in the bottom right.

Looks quite impressive, in my view. Not too sure about the way the weapons are attached, though.

::2mad Ah, I didn't see that, i'll try and get another one on the finished thing...
Looks quite impressive, in my view. Not too sure about the way the weapons are attached, though.
Well the original idea about the weapons (when this was just going to have 24 weapons on it) was a kind of double layer thing, razorz are out and out attack and the maces are there for more endurance and aggressive protection.
I don't know if they actually do work like that, but I liked the idea anyway
If you're saying that I should stick them on each AP on one extender though, I'll gladly do that

Well, i'm gonna drop the improved absolution here now:

And it's up to DSA now!
Don't know what to do with the extra weight left over though, and no, the blacks just won't stack there so I can't downgrade to plastic to get another battery in.
Anyway, i'm very pleased with it, it's not really got any stability problems and it comfortably beats everything i've tried it against in starcore 3

That's because SCv3 is SCv3. :P

Test your HSes in II AI. I usually test most of my bots in II AI (unless I'm testing wedges, which I usually do in SCv4). XD
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)
Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)
BroBots - wheebot & yaybot (Runner-Up)
Robo Zone 2 - Dipper (4th place, Survival Champion, & Best Axle Bot)
ARBBC - The Covenant (3rd place, BW Rumble Winner, Most Feared BW)

Well, how ironic, it seems that despite my best tries, the only thing i can make that doesn't glitch to oblivion in stock is....sigh...popups.
So here we go then (although i'll admit, stock popups are FAR more fun than DSL popups)
Don't Tread On Me:

Probably not the most efficient setup (with 2 wedges and 2 ddt's).
4 razorz on each ddt BTW, underkill perhaps, but hey, it's surprisingly wedgey, and can k.o fast (2 hits a lot) so meh.

try tilting the ramplates inwards at the top to provide the DDT's with some protection.

Well i realised i had plastic armour on there, so with the drive upgraded to normal z-tec with shinies, i can only get one ramplate on to keep the DSA.
Which is better, one ramplate and DSA, or two ramplates and plastic?

The best MW popup appears to be the psc popup.

DSA
2 Supervolts
2 Weapon DDTS
1 Wedge DDT
HPZ with Rubbers
