The best MW popup appears to be the psc popup.

DSA
2 Supervolts
2 Weapon DDTS
1 Wedge DDT
HPZ with Rubbers
Really? That seems like too much wasted weight for a mw if you ask me.
i didn't really have any issues with redbirds, so i'd have thought z-tec would be fine.
And I know a lot of MW popups have single wedges, but double wedges are better ;P
Surprisingly though, the fact they're on the blue snappers doesn't seem to hinder them as much as you'd have thought:

Anyway, i've upgraded to z-tec, but i want to keep the double wedge, so no hpz ;P

Needs HPZ drive. No exceptions.

We used to say that HW HS's needed 2 Supervolts, no exceptions...

But yeah, HPZ drive on the popup will help.  Not against other wedges so much, but speed is essential to get under spinners before they sweep you to the side and/or kill you.

Turn the razors so they all overlap, so all hit at the same time.

Popups are very Drivetrain-dependant, so you do need HPZ's on there. Shinies or Rubbers don't seem to make much difference except for Ground Clearance and extra weight, so it's kinda your choice.

Well, how ironic, it seems that despite my best tries, the only thing i can make that doesn't glitch to oblivion in stock is....sigh...popups.

Agreed.

Meh, I suck at stock too much to make a LW, so it turned into a MW i'm calling Colour Blind

I'd try and put ramplates on there, it just doesn't seem as though the armors coverage is tall enough.

Probably make it a true popup,  make the swords static or on SIIs and angle them.

This doesn't look like it would make a good true popup, also what's with the weird sword setup?

It needs 4WD, so get rid of some casters and maybe weapons (How many have you got anyway?) to free some weight for another set of drive.

I dont get the swords at all :P

1) they are vertical which will prevent good hits
2) they are on axles so they will spin around and not provide any damage (normals)
3) the red extenders holding them are begging to be broken off..

Try cramming on fatter casters (maybe just the next size up?) they all weigh the same and it would require less of them..

It will require patience as they are harder to exo stack..

Get rid of the swords, less empty space, put your razors and wedges on four different DDTs, get 4WD and it'll be good.

The swords were more to eat up weight than anything else TBH, I didn't think to put extra drive in there.

And about the bigger casters, they only seem to attach just inside the wedge, should I just make the wedge steeper, or is there a way to put them out further without having to do that?

Yes they do, the one on the inside doesn't do much, but if/when the other one gets knocked off, it will be able to do damage.

So, do I just get less and less comments each time I post a new bot?
