The side-casters, under the ramplates, don't seem to be doing anything TBH.
Defending the wedges.

Defending the wedges.
Said wedges also have long(*assuming they are long*) blades on them.

The insides.

I'd rather have the extra casters than extra razors, J. Don't wanna nitpick :P

Yeah, but Caster armour is better :P So when it is struck from a point behind the blades it doesn't break.
Also provides some degree of protection for the side.

Needs moar ramplates.

Nah joking inf, looks nice. How are the wedges? I'll bet that those 4 ramplates give them quite some downpushing force. Have you tried them against Insectoid (or iNCineration 4)?, I found that it has way better wedges then NWB (at least in the BBEANS arena).

Otherwise, nice looking bot, needs no more razors. Even if you don't get a OHKO, if something's lifted, it's lifted and it won't (shouldn't) come down.

If you look on page three, like I redirected RPJK... the wedges were great with only 2 plates even (=

and NC, I'll have your bots skinned by tonight! (At least one)

Oh, I know, but sometimes really weird stuff happens in the BBEANS arena (it happened to me, and Pita 8). Thanks for the skinning BTW :)

'Tis rather brilliant.

I need to use motors attached to the baseplate for wedges more often, they seem to make wedges better most of the time.

And yet, it's such a brilliantly simple design. It's like I look at it and I think "I could build that too." (And I probably could if I'd get off my ass and actually start building again.)
im just waiting for meganerdbomb to come along and kick things into gear.

Yes, baseplated/baseplate anchored snappers are better for wedgy-ness.

This is Lightkeeper. Built just before I left before. I was unhappy that I built it to be the best of all RPB style munchers, and it fell victim to the Havok syndrome.

Seeing that NC is working on a very impressive one right now, it inspired me to see how I can rebuild this? Which is kind of odd in itself because theoretically it is perfect.

Amazing Inf.

Would it run inverted without the top plows?

Well, yeah, it's very good. I think I'll have to seriously rethink my design, it has two snowplows ontop which is pretty unnessary.

You said green snappers have the best wedges right? Maybe you should swap those DDT's for snappers, get longer wedges and possibly use rubbers.

P.S.: Please make a different splash next time, it hurts my eyes  :ouch:

@That Robot Is a Spy: No such thing as a trapping FS without some very gimmicky servo work.

No, DDT's make better wedges.

I'm dropping the HP weapons for regulars. Dropping the DDT's for Green Snappers (which are better). Planning on using the extra weight for using two baseplates and one snapper to mount everything off of instead of the 2 snappers as is. It just doesnt hold well havok wise in this format.

Sorry NC, it was my BOTM splash a while ago.

Inf, no offense, just wondering, what are you using all your weight on? I don't use any snapper loaded stuff on my bot and I easily have leftover weight.
