The hammer looks a bit lacking in weaponry compared to the other two, but other than that it looks excellent.
I didn't want to put too much weight on it since gravity pulls it down when it lifts back up after firing, and I couldn't put more weapons because of rule of 7. :P I think I'm gonna get rid of 2 maces from each side hammer to double up the side plows though.

Oh and all my wedges are crap.

I like the bot in general but yeah, you need that third black.

I find that if you re-stack the first two blacks, it helps greatly in stacking the third. (Though its still a PITA)

No, I still haven't gotten the third black stacked in.

...I've been in a hotel with a different computer, so I couldn't anyway. :P N00B WARZ candidates: (I really don't care how good each one is, I just want to enter the one that will generate the most lulz)

Popcorn: A "good" popup; its only saving grace is that it has just 4 spike strips for weapons.
Jack the Ripper: Actually not a candidate; it's way too good. I just wanted to show my "first" 36HS...because razors are just as good as irons or maces for less weight, right? Why is everyone using those when they can just use razors? I'll be smart and do that! Plus square extenders.
Bot Clean-Up: A rupter. I think there's too much weight on the DDT though, so it doesn't even rupt...incredibly fast though, which should be pretty funny if I enter it.
Maskinen: (it's like La Machine, except I used Swedish instead of French) A flipper. The small wedges don't fire though; there's a secret piston inside the chassis that fires horizontally which apparently is supposed to flip stuff.
NightTerror: 6WD HPZ VS spinning down. The VS is on a HP servo, but I just used it as a heavy baseplate anchor at the time and it's not wired.
Pin and Kill: 3 DDTs (!) for weapons. Name speaks for its function.

N00B WARZ?  *Goes to check tournament discussion*

I would enter either NightTerror or Pin and Kill.  They look the most interesting.

You showcased NightTerror at the start of the showcase :P

Bot Clean-up is hilarious though. Although NightTerror is noobier XD

I didn't expect you to remember a 9-month old bot that got no discussion whatsoever...but I guess you did. :o

I really wanted to enter Pin and Kill, but Reier said it's too good and I ended up with Bot Clean-Up.

GOOD GOD I HAVE DONE IT

THAT IS THREE BLACKS. I AM THE STACKING MASTERNAEIOFNASUIOBFASOFNASOF

So yeah. 1197.9.

Here are some old bots that didn't want to be shown or something. GO GO GADGET SHOWCASE

Now this is cool; a LW 9HS that has DSA. Not very good due to slow turning and exposed motor and chassis though.

Another HS.

Dual wedged (!) LW popup.

Updated an old bot with a lower chassis.

And this, a MW that looks very cool but can't beat anything.

The chassis could be lower but I don't need the extra weight.

All have DSA and are within 0.1 kg of the weight limit except the 9HS, which is 2.1 kg off.

Edit: This post is the exact weight limit for a LW. :O

I freakin' love that Castered HS. I need to make me one of those at some point. Dual Wedged LW Popup, clearly 140cm Square Extenders, nice use of them. Be interesting to see how well it holds up against HS like Shreddar or Death By Purple 3. One with Irons on reminds me of the original Xenophobia a little bit. Hammer/FS does look very cool, though. I'd love it if you were able to make it combat effective.

Where's the rest of the Triple-Black-Stack bot by the way?

Oh, that reminds me, I think it has about 6 maces instead of 8 on each side hammer now, so there are 4 plows and longer wedges. The vertical hammer may have been tweaked a tiny bit as well. (it was a long time ago...)

Lol I just made a LW dual HS with casters and a LW N00bot-type popup as well, but I think you did them both slightly better.

How's the popup against HS?

The FS/hammer hybrid needs trapping arms or a wedge but I have no idea how you would get weight for them.

Tempus Fugit-like stuff likes eating the wedge extenders. =( Single, unstable spinners are a-ok.

Hmm...since tribars have no collision meshes on their arms, I was wondering if they could be used as some kind of invincible armour, except when the centre or ends get hit, because if stuff just goes through them like they weren't there it would be silly. I'm sure Click or Trovaner or someone else will come by soon to educate me some more on tribars.

Jumpy!

3 blacks
1 SnapperII (for the weapons and stuff, anyway)
16 razors on 4 DDTs

Good build. Would make a pretty awesome hybrid. But tribars are far too thin to be effective, I think. And stuff can still hit it, even though it seems to sink through the floor. Which is wierd. Perhaps if you lightened up the popup setup, maybe dropped a couple of DDT's and a few razors, you'd be able to get some weapons on those tribars, and some decent frontal protection.

Too...thin?

I was hoping the arms would be invincible and the cubes on the ends would spin too fast to get hit easily.

This is how it works.  I thought you would've realized by now that RA2 physics are silly. :P  Or else you would notice when you tested that bot.

So yeah, tribars are worthless as armor... but that will still be a pretty good bot if you get some razors on them.

Yeah. Look at how spindly the arms are, and the vast amounts of space between them. Shame it doesn't work, but you could take this and make it into a conventional popup with some sort of FS/HS hybrid feature.
