I think we should have every chatterbox thread be checked by a mod (

I'll do it, I have the least amount of life (off track and parkour seasons) than anyone else here) before it's posted so we don't have anymore stupid "EYE HAWT U ALL" threads.

Bad idea, leaves the door open for mass WAAAAAAAAAAHing and stupid threads from all angles.
Anyway, I don't think there's a problem with the system anyway.

Great thread kill, I've been thinking about writing something like this for a while, but have been too lazy. Half the people bitching and complaining about whacking OBVIOUSLY weren't on the old forum where there was actual flaming going on. One thing that I think is missing nowadays is respect. When I joined, I pretty much worshiped a lot of the veterans. I would be honored when somebody like Lugica, Inf, of Pyc would even say something nice about a bot I posted, but now none of this goes on...

Just my thoughts on the matter.

i was on the old RA2 boards. i survived the c**p Inf gave me. don't see how the mild bashing on this forum can be any worse in any way.

I like this thread. It makes it all funnier when everybody forgets everything, Jonzu/FOTPEX/whoever begin spamming again, Sparky is harrased by people who have only been here a week and someone bawws about this community going in a sh**ter while spamming everywhere in the meantime.

change permissions so only staff can make new topics?

I meant the permissions for forum news.. you said that was the problem after all..

its either a topic made by staff or an attention whore one that gets posted in forum news

we don't need the latter in forum news so restrict privileges to staff only for making new topics..

@Sage and Joe - Ok, I made a mistake. We all do from time to time. I found it relatively easy the first time I built a tri-spinner bot in stock. Maybe there is more thought in it. I honestly don't care, as I don't build in stock.

Guys, i know you dont carte what i have to say, but i just like to say one thing...

Even though you might not like the face, this game is a bargian bin game, it should have died out a long time ago, but the RA2 community is keeping this alive, all im asking is for everyone to respect eachother.

This aint a 'OH RESPECT ME IVE GAVE UP!' thing, this is a 'If we dont all get along this is gonna die'...

Without the red part, this is a good post. But you add that blatant attention whoring and it kinda ruins it. Be confident in what you are posting. And you brought that on yourself Jonzu.
