DO NOT just attempt it or you might blow your receiver.
I can't help as I don't know what your components are or what each lead is for.

Are you sure you plugged the battery in the right way and haven't blown it? Do you need to bind the receiver to the transmitter?
Plus, I see no actual battery but that might be just me...

It gives no instructions on the right way to put stuff in, I hope I haven't blown it, but nothing's happened

Why do you have a BEC?
You want to arrange the wires so that the top wire is signal, and the bottom wire is ground(Easy way to tell is that the darkest wire will almost all ways be ground). If the Radio is mode 2(Throttle on the left) you want to plug the servos leads into Elevator and Aileron, if mode one(Throttle on the right) plug the servo wires into Elevator and Rudder. The lifter(If you have one) can be plugged into the Throttle OR the Landing gear port. The battery can be plugged into any unoccupied space.

I've talked to tweedy and haz on Skype, yes I've got a bec and also the battery is too underpowered to power the receiver, so I need to get another battery which haz has pointed me to. Yeh, I'm a total noob in real robotics :P

I've been chatting to haz on Skype and he's been kind enough to give me his battery and charger as well as some materials for a low price, I'm really happy and thanks a lot to haz!

Sooo... Time for another update

The bits came in today, I'll list what I've got;

3x 1mm thick Hdpe sheet
3x2mm thick Hdpe sheet
1x1mm thick titanium sheet
1x1mm thick aluminium sheet*
3x1mm thick polycarbonate sheet
1x2mm thick polycarbonate sheet
* it's quite dirty, so as recompense he gave me a titanium wedge of his :D

1xNimH(?) 6v battery
The charger for that battery

MY PLANS
So I'm going to make a basic wedge with maybe a weapon I'm not sure yet, I found my old combat ant and disassembled it, giving fast torquey servos for me to use as well as the stands :D. The receiver for that has also been found as well as the battery and now that I have more servos I guess I could make two ants :D

All in all, I'm extremely happy, thanks Haz!

First Prototype! :0

The servos I got were too small, so I used the battle ant's ones, can drive quickly but turns slowly

159g, need to get different servos to reduce the weight and add stuff as well as some screws and something to mount my servos on and some screws and nails in general

Thoughts?

If you're overweight without any armour then you are in for a bad time.
It looks okay at the moment.
