Reminds me of Mike's Apollyon slightly. Nice job. Maybe a couple of spikes on the front would help with ramming, and stop opponents going straight over you. Finally, +1 Pun Points to you.

i would add spikes but i am close to weight and size limits, also they dont do much damage to the polycarboate and ti boxes :(
one of my freinds robots, had dart tips for spikes and it ran on 40mhz he forgot to turn on his tx before so the robot went full forwards into my hand  :realmad(
the name rocks dont it? like my other antweigh ANTiperspirANT

It's not really for damage, it's just to stop opponents going up and over the top of you. I reckon you could get away with 9g left.

I think you could get away with having them going straight forward. They don't have to be long, just long enough to stop opponents flying up and over you. If you place them right at the top of the front wedge, I think you could get about a centimeter or so on them.

the robot is about 9.6cm so a cm would make it too big (its 10.4cm wide)

yo, s'appnin people
added some spikes/hooks to the top of deodorANT to stop people going over the top and some thin plastic at the front, plus the name and big red star
here is a piccy:
http://i947.photobucket.com/albums/ad315/haz-teamcombatpenguin/Photo0179.jpg[/img]]

went to the nec to see the gadet show live, but more importantly robochalange, seeing some robots like little spinner and 360 made me make my featherweight MUCH smaller and more compact, still struggling with weight or rather lack of it! thinking of putting some of the 8kg sla's we have lying around in it.  got about 4 bosch 400s lying around, waiting for gearboxes to be made so thats my weekend :gawe:

There we go, that's kinda what I was talking about. =] I think it should do a bit better in combat now, should be easier to push the opponents around. It does have a bit of a Plunderbird 2 feel to it, with the black colour, front bulldozer thing, and fangs on the top.

Is the plastic on the outside or inside of the metal part of the wedge? If you are going to face spinners I'd get rid of the plastic or have it under the metal layer because plastics are almost always softer than metals so spinners get more bite against plastic instead of metal where the will just skitter along it unless it catches an edge or seam.

its 10mm thick so spinners wont be a problem, and in my experiance plastic stands up MUCH better to spinners than metal :ermm:

its....
FEATHERWEIGHT TIME!!!

made it a lot smaller and more compact, still having trouble with it being far, far too light. Jack Orr and Jonny Adams also have realy light feahters so a 3 way clusterbot may come about.
my costs so far
14.4v drills- would have been £40 but were free
hdpe- £12
screws/bolts-£5
wheels £15
plexiglass- free
3mm aluiminum- free
escs-£20
spectrum £40
rx -£12
i know plexiglass is compleatly and utterly useless but im using it till i get some polycarbonate

I'm no expert but more than 1 wheel usually helps
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

the 3 way cluster bot is underway, each bot weighing 4kg
about 40% there at the moment; mine drives just it dosent have wheels, jonnys has wheels but no esc and jack is salviging bits form his feather that was squashed by major damage
this probably wont be competitve just a bit of fun
