I guess battlebots came out of nowhere. They informed some teams before the official annunce and the others had enough time and money to build a new HW.
As for Robot Wars it was just a matter of time after battlebots came back. Guys from the life show have known about something like that before and I guess there are people on GTM who are in contact with em ;)

I though that was common knowledge. But then again I'm not sure where I saw it now.
Better than GK since 2009.

My question is will they be changeing the rules so roboteers can have more destructive weaponary again.

Yep, spinners are A-ok.

I guess battlebots came out of nowhere. They informed some teams before the official annunce and the others had enough time and money to build a new HW.
Greg and Trey have been trying to get it back for a really long time, they just didn't have any news till they got a bite.  I don't know if you recall, but there was a rumor back in 2012 that James Cameron was bringing back Battlebots - turned out the rumor was semi-true, Greg and Trey were having conversations with him about it, but it never came to fruition.

I now wonder about the current status of Chaos 2 and Hypnodisk.
I do still wonder about this...

So why do we have several GTM members entering Robot Wars, but none in Battlebots?
BB 2015 was invitational.
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

I think me, my bro and a few friends are making a robot to enter in if we have enough time and get something done.

It'd be so cool to see some gtm members on the show! Of course, there's no way of identifying you, unless you hold up a massive sign saying "GameTechMods FTW" or something.

You never know, though, if it goes on for long enough, I may try to enter myself one day. Given time and money, of course.

Well OK, I guess Ray Billings is technically a member.  I was thinking of active members though.

You could put a GTM sticker on the robot.

I mean active GTM member, yes. So including Ray there's 2, actually a few if you include non-active.

Jaydee, entries close like in the next week or so and you have to get the heavy built for filming in early March. Just so you have an idea of timings.

Finally, take anything on /r/BattleBots' thread with a pinch of salt everyone. There's a lot missing and actually some inaccuracies about people who apparently aren't entering.

So if you are unexperienced or don't have one ready it's almost impossible to make it ;)

Also I think I have a guess who the member could be

I really hope Razer has a better run than Warhead did on the show.

I loved Firestorm yet Firestorm, Hypno-Disc, and Razer have all been retired :P
i'm only a finalist in BBEAMS 7 which was a meme tournament and I just stole a NAR AI bot and made it dense as ****.
and Not Bushido was a thing that happened, I beat the #1 seed despite being #bad seed.
