Why is every body so horny for razer & hypno disc? They were cool to watch yes but why do they have such a huge fan base? No love for firestorm?

I loved Firestorm yet Firestorm, Hypno-Disc, and Razer have all been retired :P
But the Razer team haven't.  Maybe they'll make a successor like a Razer 2 pehaps.
The Steak is reborn.

No point living in the past. Unless every single one of those bots was massively overhauled (eg completely rebuilt) they won't stand a chance.
If Razer doesn't get rebuilt (and we get in, which is currently looking very good) I hope my team faces it in round 1.

Where you getting that information yo? I'm pretty sure remaking it using thick enough Hardox will eat more than the extra 10kg.

I don't really care about those. I just wanna see wheely big cheese ****ing obliterate another bot again.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Good one :D
wheely big cheese vs. Chaos 2? Do we forget these moments? Seriously, wheely big cheese only lost a lot because it was too heavy/big. If they rebuild it with the same power/more power in the hydraulics, yet less overall weight/size, they could destroy the competition.

WBC ran nitrogen illegally in their bot one year (see: that axe awe flip) so more power on legal pneumatics would likely be very difficult.

Considering that most of the high powered flippers in the UK run unregulated CO2(850psi), it would be a lot harder to run N2 or HPA(5000psi) and still be safe.

Wait if CO2 is safer than Nitrogen then why is CO2 banned and Nitrogen allowed on Battlebots?

Its lower pressure, but the storage method is different. At that(850psi) pressure, CO2 becomes a liquid, but every time you fire the weapon it gets colder as it changes states and pressure drops(The advantage is that is keeps the pressure consistent, letting you get more flips out of it). Nitrogen and HPA stay a gas in the tank, and do not cause much of a drop in temperature. Some theorized the reason BB bans CO2 is that a ruptured tank might freeze over, blocking the gap until the match ends and blows up in the face of the builder once the CO2 heats up and becomes a gas(I think that explanation is bull honky, as UK feathers have been fighting with pull pressure flippers and spinners in the same arena for a long time, and not once have I heard of this happening). Another reason might be to discourage builders from installing heaters on their tanks to keep pressure up(Inertia Labs did this).

Yeah don't want to cause problems with Mentorn and best to keep it a surprise. But hey ho, you may never know, Mr AS might include it with his mod upgrades later in the year. ;)

Nope and there likely won't be until airing. All we know is the floor will be 6mm Steel rather than wood.
