The 'RC truck towing a trailer of lego' was actually called Stewbot. I saw a video of it getting smashed by the pulverizer, while the "1812 Overture" was playing.

I also think Napalm was a piece of crap. It only won most its battles by luck.

I also hated the 'joke entries'. Destruct-A-Bubble was completely stupid looking, although Fat Boy Tin was fun to watch.

I might have said this before (somehow I didn't find the post, but I dislike Bolt from the Blue. It didn't do anything in its first battle, I wish Diotor went through.

Dantomkia was a big showoff.

Ah, the team? I thought that the robot was quite brilliant, but the team (Especially Rob) were a bunch of overconfident prats.

Also, apart from 13 Black and Cheap as Chips, I don't really like Typhoon 2 that much either. Storm II was done out of that Championship!

they made Chaos 2 unrepairable so George had to nearly rebuild it (kept the chassis)

The bloody thing practically destroyed it! Seeing Chaos 2 in that state was admittedly, one of my worst ever moments in RW.

And also, Chaos 2 has now restored to running condition since then, but now no longer really fights.

it knocked out the drive chains so it was immobile, and broke a bit of the armor.

Razer then attacked the rear components and psycho went to town on the chassis, hitting it with the hammer.. I heard it was that irreparable chassis damage that put it out.

Meh, well that part mentioned was probably the worst of it there. I mean, if I can be honest, I don't see Razer, 13 Black, or Mr. Psycho couldn't just flip or pit it once they realised it was immobilised, instead of trying to utterly rip it to pieces!

But it wasn't completely irrepairable, just for the rest of Extreme 2.
It underwent an extensive rebuilding afterwards (With only the original chassis and C02 system being kept, from what I heard), and is now in running condition again, as seen in this YouTube video below-

The video there was taken in 2004, after Extreme 2. And from what I can see in it, it's nice to see the old champ reliving the glory days now and then.

sadly the loss of Robot Wars hurt many of the older teams

Chaos 2 and Hypnodisc especially

from there performances in series 6 and extreme 2 you could see they were slipping, both teams (well I can confirm hypnodisc anyway) took series 7 off for a break and a chance to sit back and bring there robot(s) back up to a dominant standard for the current competition

however with the lack of series 8 we never got to see such creations

Any of the Toro bots--I don't remember why. They just bugged me.
Dr. Inferno Jr.--It was a

of a pusher, but those arm weapons were far too lame.
Mechavore--As a Vlad the Impaler fan, I wasn't pleased when Mechavore destroyed it.
That Jay Leno bot--Jay Leno is a douchebag.

Jay Leno is in no way awesome. He makes obvious observations, and then calls them jokes. Here's an example of a Leno-type joke: "Did you see this? Did you hear about this? Sparkey struggles with spelling. Someone should get him a dictionary!" Throw in a high pitched lisp and Kevin The Lameass Guitar Dude laughing, and you've got an authentic Jay Leno joke.

There's also the fact that his most famous bits are stolen from better, funnier people. Headlines? That was a bit Letterman did on the Late Night. Jay Walking? Howard Stern did that same bit years before Leno. How about that bit where he had a chicken go up against a football analyst to predict the upcoming football results? That, too, was done by Howard Stern 6 years before Leno.

This is only the tip of the iceberg of why Jay Leno sucks.

That wasn't Vader though, it was IG-88. You could tell by how there wasn't a disc, but two rotary axes instead.

Want my say in this.

I happen to know Andrew Marchant quite well, and we both agreed that it was ingenuity, not cheating, especially since it was confirmed BEFORE they started building it, as it counted as an interchangeable weapon, like the 'charity' scoop and disc.

Anyway, my hated robots:

Typhoon 2 - No matter how nice Gary Cairns and his team are, they're cocky bastards who cheated their way into the grand final.

Cheap As Chips - As soon as 'activate' was sounded, press the pit release, grab disc-o-inferno and push it in?!

Warhog - Lost to fodder. Nuff said.

Napalm - Fodder which had too much luck.
