watch tornado vs storm 2 the BBC cut out a part when tornado reversed into the pit and the pit rose back up to let him out
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU-
Bloody Mentorn...they didn't used to be so biased towards certain robots!
But seriously, the pit rule (Once you're in, you're out) should've applied to every robot. No exceptions, especially to a red box driven by unsporting arses.

its not actually mentorn it is the bbc
they tried so hard to stop storm II becoming champ
oh and the bbc told the judges to let typhoon win instead of storm II because it was apparently "boring"

Even a certain front-hinged flipper with pit-escaping spike?
Well yes, if it makes competition fair. I mean, Cassius II was pitted in that fight primarily due to Pussycat's good driving, and falling into the pit at the wrong angle (So it couldn't use the spike to escape).

Unlike the case mentioned earlier, that was completely fair. It's not like Mentorn would have claimed Cassius II's pitting was unfair (Due to its previous achievements) and restarted the match, back then.

Uhhhh....It was actually Five who ran Series 7 that year. The BBC sold the rights to them.

There's a lesson in there for all of us.

Storm 2 isn't boring. As we on Robot Wars Wiki found out, writing a Series 8 with it winning everything was boring.

Warhog, what a joke!  It qualified thrice for Robot Wars, and despite having a huge spinner, all it ever broke was the arena wall.  What a waste of speed and power, it's like making french fries out of New Potatoes.  After it lost to freakin' Napalm in Series 5, that should have been indication that Warhog was not cut out for Robot Wars.  Why is it that so many decent robots were rejected from Series 6 whilst Warhog was given yet another chance?

NAPALM was supposed to be fodder.  Warhog lost to the fodder.  And the point of having fodder in the first place is that it gets shredded and mangled and crushed and bounced, not engaged in a slow pushing match for 5 minutes that ends because both robots run out of juice.

I believe previous entrants were given priority over rookie robots. so if you manage to get a robot in the previous season you were almost guaranteed a place in the next

I dislike this stubid for robot wars totaly overpovered Typhoon 2. Robot Wars was a great show with some fail robots (just as those in my showcase :P ) and some pretty good ones. but then came Typhoon and just Battlebotstyled destroyed that harmony. It should`ve better entered BB.

one bot I hated in BB was "Abattoir" (if you saw the Las Vegas 99 event, you'd understand)
