T.A.N. also won without the pit, but lastly; what makes flipping bots out of the arena less cheap than pitting them. It was becoming a trend and to be honest I found TAN's matches better and much less like the rest of the series, which consisted of bots like Judge Shred 3 and M2 just OOTA'ing things.

Yeah, OOTA got boring after a while.

Typhoon Twins: Due to new rule changes if one cluster bot was out, the other could still fight. Thats unfair. They beat 259 by the rule changes and that really annoyed me! 259 did everything better in that match then one twin got K.Oed, the 259 passed out. So typhoon twins won! I thought cluster-bots counted as 1 robot! And they were barley a clusterbot! At least gemini were attached! Unlike Typhoon twins who who came in attached by a kilt!

Buddy Lee Don't Play in the Street (Should Have lost to Turbo/ Laziest engineering)Yes, because every robot that enters in a competition has to be superior in combat..  (From What I can tell from that fight, Turbo only broke 1 thing while it knocked the crap out of Buddy Lee. The Judging also didn't take into consideration what robot has more potential to go to the final 4. As displayed by Spaz, Buddy Lee wasn't the answer and Turbo could have wrecked Spaz...Easily)

Shaft (Looks like something that belongs in between two sheets of drywall) LOLWUT (The design with the padding made it look like wall insulation)

Ronin (Lags in DSL, not to mention was slow and boring) And its RA2 counter-part makes it bad why... ? (Lag)

Run Amok (Wouldn't survive a second in a legitimate competition) So...Robotica/US Robot Wars isn't a legit competition ? (If there was one good Horizontal Spinner on that show, Run Amok would be in pieces)

Buddy lee was the agressor and most of the damage was cosmetic, bar the wheel. And judges taking into consideration "more potential"? That is complete and utter Shash. Battles should be judged purely on the match and that match alone. Not other factors like "potential".

(If there was one good Horizontal Spinner on that show, Run Amok would be in pieces) But there wasn't. Robotica was basically one big obstacle course. Run Amok was made for that obstacle course and was good at said competition. You probably wouldn't have seen a Horizontal spinner in Robotica was it would be too much effort for one fight. It's no good planning for the FTTF if you never get there. I personally like Run Amok as it was simple and effective. Also i'm a sucker for car steering.

I wouldn't mind this, aside from the fact that this didn't apply in the main competition, so Black And Blue was eliminated in Round 1 because only one half of the bot broke down. If it was the same across the board, regardless of weight class, then that would be fine.

I wouldn't mind this, aside from the fact that this didn't apply in the main competition, so Black And Blue was eliminated in Round 1 because only one half of the bot broke down. If it was the same across the board, regardless of weight class, then that would be fine.

Technically, it was actually because one half ended up in the pit- the exact same thing happened to Typhoon Lightning, and the clusterbot itself was not eliminated. It just irritated me to see that they appeared to make that rule solely for the Typhoon Twins to continue in the Middleweight Tournament- quite unsporting when you consider that, along with the original Typhoon, it was more or less a team of three robots against two seperate ones in the finals.

The only one I can say I never really liked was Tornado, but looking back now, though it seemed a little shifty to me at the time, interchangeable weaponry was a good idea.

I also don't get the hatred for razer to be fair, it was a great machine. If you dislike it because of the team, your argument is invalid.

Some of my personal favourites were 7th series X-terminator, Hypno, Razer, DTK, TAN (that discussion was silly. Doing that and pitting them seems to require more effort than flipping somebody out of the arena most of the time). Storm II was also a favourite just for chucking someone (which robot was it?:P) OOTA with just pure speed.

EDIT: Also I don't like Shaft for the complete stupidity of having motors outside the chassis, same with Missing Link. (Also they put padding all over the thing for the Lightweight rumble, it looked like rolling insulation with a green spike.
