Not to mention that it wasn't really effective... I remember seeing it getting inverted on a youtube vid and it lost stupidly.

Tough as Nails is my favourite bot of all time, guys. It was designed elegantly and beautifully to take advantage of its surroundings in order to win. Plus, it was great to see a team with actual creativity for once, not "aw, well Chaos 2 won a while ago, so let's just build some flipper." Seriously, once Chaos 2 got it's first win, basically EVERY ROBOT WAS A DAMN WEDGE OR A FLIPPER. Wheely Big Cheese and Gravity were sweet, but every other flipper in Robot Wars drove me off-the-wall nuts.

I also really liked 13 Black too.

As for bots I really disliked, I did not like Chaos 2 at all, or Tornado, or Pussycat for that matter. I also didn't like Biohazard because it was really boring to watch, and I didn't like Hazard either. Although Hazard was at least exciting, it beat up Complete Control, which I wasn't too happy about.

I don't like any slow wedgebot or pushbot that is poorly driven. Also I don't like Upheaval because I lost to him.

i have to say one of my least favorite robots was Tornado.

the reason being that they had loads of different weapons they would just change to when they wanted.

lke they had the cage thing for when they were against Razer and the scoop for against blades and the disc for all round.
im sure they had others as well.

ijust dont find it fair to have a certain defense against a certain robot.

example the cage thing when against Razer which also doesnt allow it to fall in the pits.

its not like Razer had a certain weapon for Tornado did it.

I see nothing wrong with running with different weapons for different bots. Heck I have a hook attachment for my bot for when it fights "Herald". The same tactics are employed by Team Plumb Crazy with Sewer Snake and Pipe Wench. Sewer Snake has three lifter configurations (wedge, spike normal one) and will run 4 wheeled or 6 wheeled depending on the lifter configuration. Being a builder I know it is not fun to have your bot destroyed. I do stuff to prevent being destroyed beyond repair as well.

in the second encounter razor had a hook that picked up tornado almost straight away.

different weapons fits in the rules as does having some type of cage or defense to fight a robot

im fine with that from the tornado team, what I didnt like was the Anti Pit situation, many other weight classes had to fit within a size limit yes RW seemed to over look that one

I used to have my dislike for tornado over it until I found out that RW was rigged in favor of tornado, the only beef I have with it now was that a push bot was boring.. if you going to push your opponents you do it like Storm 2, not slowly into a CPZ or pit

Besides PanzerMK4, I have to say my most hated robot is Hazard. I mean, pieces of metal flying 10 feet across the arena is cool, but it was UNDEFEATED until the Series 5 semifinals (and even THAT was dumb luck) It didnt enter Series 2, which was OK, but it beat every frickin' robot in the series! SABotage, El Diablo, Heavy Metal Noise, Little Drummer Boy, Complete Control, the list goes on and on. I bet it could beat some SuperHeavyWeights! Seriously, if you're gonna make an all-destroying superbot, at least give it a weak spot so that the other bots have some chance! I mean, even T-Minus had a weak spot (being hit when the arm is up, see T-Minus vs Heavy Metal Noise) so why can't Hazard?

And the only reason that I hate Panzer more than Hazard is that Hazard's matches are entertaining. Panzer was just a 6wd plow that pitted and OOTA'ed everything.

I don't Always hate the best robot, just I think one robot shouldnt win 100% of the time.

And also, I'd probably say my third most disliked robot is probably Spikasaurus from RW Series 4.

I mean, it only won the Northern Annihilator on pure luck.
