Ah, you mean the Sentinel. It was basically the arm from a JCB digger with an enormous spike on the end. I hated it as an obstacle, as it could just sit its ass down in the middle of the track, and it was so big and heavy that no robot could do anything about it. It could even push the robots backwards if it so desired, but occasionally it would "miss" a robot and let it by.

It would be just as practical to roll a die, they'd have the same amount of control over how far their robot went.

it would have been decent if it was an actual power

it was mechanical arms that worked like a car piston meaning there was very little force behind it

Mace 1: Because it beat Chaos (the first Chaos) and made me go D:
Mace 2: Because it was THE SAME BOT

But this time they got their ass handed to them

Then Gemini came along. That robot was quite bad-ass in my opinion.

really I thought it was rather cool robot... series 6/ 7 version was the best.

also fun fact, one of the members of the bulldog team joined this site some months ago, I helped him through youtube set up some AI packs, DSL, etc. Real nice guy, dont know if he has been active since.

Toe Crusher was the worst hammer ever. It's a torque-reaction hammer, but there's no delay between between the hammer firing and the robot moving backwards. It's virtually incapable of hitting an oppoent, even if the opponent is standing still. But what really gets my goat is that it was a sponsor-bot; Christian Carslberg got a big check from Wizards of the Coast to build his robots, and this is the best he could do?
