halon rhino was the origanal version, I geuss I was being ignorent. But one of it's attacks was to spin in place to make a cloud of halon. And FBS is a bot that spins in place. The SHW did have spike though.

No, you're thinking of a Sit-and-Spin, or a "Thwackbot". A FBS is what in the RA2 community we call a Sheck Spinner.

as he noted Sheck Spinners are not Full Body Spinners, FBS are robots spinning the full mass (not just the outside armour) while having transitional movment (umm.. being able to follow and opponant while spinning)

They take no skill to build IRL. Sparkey, to show us that this is true, because you have barely any skill, go buil a SS that has motors for drive and the weapon.

SnS is a strategy used IRL, but it became a known term for a type in RA2

FBS isnt actually a bot type all together

Body Spinner is a design that incorporates a few things, the whole robot itself moves around like a Thwackbot but the robot uses transitional movement by, additional "floating electronics" that contain separate drive, Melty Brain (speed variation) or NaviBot (drive angle changing)

FBS was generally given to Body Spinners but other "promotions" of robot combat use it to label shell spinners as it can technically be correct, just stupid since they arnt spinning around there body only the outside Armour

hence the confusion
