I'd say it was the best UK bot to have car steering. Shame it didn't do as well as it did in the US, though.Nooooo wayMeggaMouse FTW :DAt least Killerhurtz had the ability to do real damage without flipping itself over :3But MeggaMouse has a flipper :PAnd Killerhurtz can self-right you sure bout that.Anyway Terrorhurtz was way better IMO.Shame about it's luck.Killerhurtz was best at driving in battlebots (basically as there is no pit) but PA was by far the better driver when there is a pit.
beat Cassius II!

is this bot don't lost all razors in a fight before do a damage thought
Terrorhurtz was good, too!
Andpussycat deserved that win with that move :PAnd if it was a fight of actual destruction, we would obviously know the winner.

But destruction? I'm not certain. From what I saw, the original round blade wasn't too powerful (notice how it barely grazed Hammerhead in the fight prior), whilst Cassius II, until it drove into the pit, was doing well against Pussycat, immediately slamming into it and knocking it around with the pneumatic spike.
I just found it quite funny with all the boasting about being able to escape the pit and then falling straight in there and not being able to get out :P
Quote from: ty4er on June 04, 2011, 12:21:25 PMI just found it quite funny with all the boasting about being able to escape the pit and then falling straight in there and not being able to get out :PI think it was mainly due to falling in at an angle, thereby wedging it so that its back wasn't touching the bottom of the pit. That's why it didn't work :/
Would it have done better without the spike?
I thought Disruptor was a neat robot. I wish the team brought that back instead of excalibur.
Mortis was another favourite of mine during the series- with its lifter and tanto blade (which could strike with the force of a .38 Magnum fired at point-blank range, three times a second at least) weaponry and great staying power, it proved itself to be a strong and resiliant competitor. Even though it only reached the Semis once, it winning the War of Independence in Series 4 definitely proved to be a CMOA for it.
obligatory battlebots 5 comment

I think the main problem was its large ground clearance. It had a vast, gaping chasm underneath that Behemoth, Gravedigger and Steg 2 all exploited. If the gap was smaller, it would have done much better. Having said that, I think the axe/lifter combination did make it one of the most versatile bots in the arena at the time, maybe ever.
The Tazbot vs Mortis was on the BB 1999 World Championship DVD. I have it.
