Stop being dumb sparky, when Battle bots began Robot Wars was already on their third season.
That, and Cassius II could have dealt with most of the BB entries from that period, might I add   :approve:

I also hated the commentators, they came across as clueless morons
As did Carmen Electra.

I like Wheely Big Cheese, Hypno-Disc, Chaos 2, Tornado, and Razer. razer not so much, because they're biased

One I also quite liked was Killerhurtz- although it wasn't so good in Robot Wars, it was actually a great contender in Battlebots, putting holes in many an American machine en-route to taking second at Long Beach 1999, as well as the "Best Driver" award  :3

Killerhurtz was a fantastic robot. I'd say it was the best UK bot to have car steering. Shame it didn't do as well as it did in the US, though.

Diesector, full stop. Hell, anything built by Donald Hudson is amazing.

From Robot Wars, my undisputed favorite is Terrorhurtz. A huge breath of fresh air for the series, especially for an overhead axe, and an improvement on one of the most iconic combat robots, Killerhurtz.

A more obscure but awesome example is Cuad the Crusher. That was truly an original design, and their fight against Techno Destructo in series 5 of Battlebots was a fun watch.

Technically, it happened because the team, since competing in Battlebots, had forgotten that the pit was there- they had been intending to drive around and hit Cerberus again, but drove into the pit by mistake.

At least Killerhurtz had the ability to do real damage without flipping itself over  :3

Personally I'm a fan of Pussycat. For such a simple design (yes, I consider that design simple) they did very well.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

Actually, it's the 4th-ranked Battlebots HW of all time. :P

Plus, they proved what the humble Circular Saw was capable of when applied properly- it severed Reptirron's fuel line, tore Robochicken apart, demolished Razer (twice!), smashed Sir Killalot's petrol engine and set him on fire, and even beat Cassius II!

you sure bout that.

Anyway Terrorhurtz was way better IMO.
Shame about it's luck.

Killerhurtz was best at driving in battlebots (basically as there is no pit) but PA was by far the better driver when there is a pit.
