The reason why the judges gave the match to Tornado was because team Razor let them, their motors burned out and Razor was essentially dead but for some reason was not counted out, team Razor gave knowingly gave the win to Tornado.
No controversy, just good sportsmanship.

We've been through this before...

It's perfectly legal and common for robots to change their armor configuration depending on their opponent.   Sewer Snake, Bounty Hunter Shish-Kabot, and Shovel Head all have alternate armor configurations and no one says anything about them. Why is that?

I think the main problem with that particular system was that the CO2 kept freezing in the pipes, preventing it from working properly half the time. Nevertheless, when the full-pressure flipper did work, it was a joy to behold- just look at its Heat in Series 5, and you'll see why.

Ah, but Thermidor got into the same number of semis in it's existence, had more success in Extreme, and it's only heat loss was against a bot that later got ripped off from it's chance in the semis by the decidedly average series 5 Wild Thing. Go figure.

Suppose you do have a point about Extreme. But then again, Chaos 2's losses there were mainly down to bad luck and House Robot intervention, namely Refbot knocking Tornado off the wall in the All-Star Tournament, and Matilda knocking Chaos 2 against the wall in the Flipper Frenzy.

Well I think Panic Attack is better than Chaos2. Now im not gonna lie Chaos2 is a great bot and is the Robot Wars Champion of all time, He has one more series than anyone(excluding world championships,thus it would be Razer) But Panic Attack has a better driver. And besides Chaos2 was never my favorite flipper. I alwayes liked Bigger Brother. Not only is the bot a good bot(almost defated Razer in the Series 5 Final) But the fact that the team is partly driven by kids is pretty cool.
