Here's the finished list of competitors:
http://battlebots.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Badnik96/(SPOILERS)_BattleBots_2015_Competitor_Chart

Lots of flamethrowers in this competition. I know why no one uses water jets/soakers, there's practically no chance of getting your enemy close enough for long enough to cut into their bot (without already having them clamped enough for any other weapon), but I just want to see someone try at this point, maybe go for a short-circuit victory.

It's simple. You're not allowed to. There are weapon restrictions.
Oh I'll be doing some banging.......

But..but steel cutting water jets!
Silly restrictions like "no air cannons" and "no atomic powered railguns", sheesh. What kind of giant robot fighting competition is being run here?

I'd love to see a light weapon like that but with extra weight into just motors and batteries to spin it at some ludicrous speed. I would LOVE to see 10,000 RPM.
Higher rpm means less tooth engagement in most cases.

Plus, if you make the weapon so light you can spin it super fast, you might just snap the weapon instead of your opponent.
Like a CD spinning at # rpm. You can, but are you sure you want to?

Whelp, was just looking through my old RA2 stuff when I found the BeetleBros site, which led me to here.
First, I just want to say I'm so darn happy BattleBots is coming back on tomorrow and I will definitely be glued to my TV watching that. Second:

I wish more builders lived near me so we could have a viewing party!
Skype live stream yo.
Yeah, I'd be up for that.
Same. When will you guys call?
I'm up for this.

I definitely want in on a Battlebots watching stream/Skype group.
And apparently there might be a RA3 in 2016, why wasn't that at E3? Ah well, at least I found out about it through chance.

thinking plan X is gonna get annihilated
Yes. It looks like it is made of Paper Mache...or Radditz. Those little RC cars won't help at all. It's a very open/exposed design from what I could see.

Welcome!
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

Or just two weaker weapons ;)

I just watched the tested video with them though, and that "speed of sound" comment is a lot of talk but I'd love to see it. I like the idea behind the light spinner, as long as it can hold up. And the weight savings are probably what allowed the second weapon.

I'd love to see a light weapon like that but with extra weight into just motors and batteries to spin it at some ludicrous speed. I would LOVE to see 10,000 RPM.
the weapon on my 15lb is beefier and was tach'ed at 20,000rpm

plan x looks like a robot built by someone who hasn't looked at a robot since 2002.

complete control is my favorite

Those bits that Wrecks broke are just the disposable decorative shell.  Underneath, it's a densely-packed box that looks like Manta from Robot Wars.  I'm thinking they'll win with their back weapon, just tip Wrecks over for the win.

As far as "who do you think will win, Nate?", my vote goes to the Maxhams.

I just want to ask, is it possible for someone to post a twitch stream if someone finds one about the first episode? I, sadly, don't have ABC, so thanks for your help.

We've been talking about it. I know Helloface has the ability to do it and he was talking about it earlier. Also, you should be able to watch it on ABC's website.

Icewave and Bite Force are now on the website as well. They also now have pages on the BBWiki.
