I love the way they did Mohawk's flamethrower. Instead of doing it to roast the other robot like most people do, they're using it to set their own mohawk on fire so it looks cooler. Neat idea.

Hmm, now that I've seen Wrex "walking" I'm not so sure it'll win, it looks easy to outdrive and liable to flip.  Plus it doesn't look like they actually got a weight bonus like I thought.  I'm changing my prediction to Plan X.

Eh the promo clip of that had Wrex getting a good bite into the side of Plan X. And Plan X wasn't moving, and the spinner looked weak. I'd stay with Wrex.

I like the concept behind Plan X's weapon. It's a good way to have both a decently powerful spinner and backup weapon.

I just watched the tested video with them though, and that "speed of sound" comment is a lot of talk but I'd love to see it. I like the idea behind the light spinner, as long as it can hold up. And the weight savings are probably what allowed the second weapon.

I'd love to see a light weapon like that but with extra weight into just motors and batteries to spin it at some ludicrous speed. I would LOVE to see 10,000 RPM.

Whelp, was just looking through my old RA2 stuff when I found the BeetleBros site, which led me to here.
First, I just want to say I'm so darn happy BattleBots is coming back on tomorrow and I will definitely be glued to my TV watching that. Second:

I definitely want in on a Battlebots watching stream/Skype group.
And apparently there might be a RA3 in 2016, why wasn't that at E3? Ah well, at least I found out about it through chance.

Yes. It looks like it is made of Paper Mache...or Radditz. Those little RC cars won't help at all. It's a very open/exposed design from what I could see.
