Since it got discussed in the Reputation thread.. thought I'd bring it up here. Possible GTM Cover Song, performed by GTM members?
Madman could possibly produce, I could possibly play guitar (depending on the song, my hands don't do bar chords :3)... would need singer(s), bassist, guitarist(s) and a drummer. Song ideas? Thoughts? (':

Okay, so IRL has seen a meteoric rise in popularity, and it led me to think, why is nothing being done for this? I'm imagining Nar AI (rebuilt teams and user teams) but IRL, basically. I don't have a great deal of time for it but I just thought I'd throw it out there - if all the major IRL builders got in on this, it wouldn't be all that difficult to do, and I think it'd be good for those who prefer that style of building to have something equivalent to test against. Feel free to shoot this down as it is only an idea. :)

Okay so I am fed up with WMM crashing every 2 minutes - gives me a severe 'meh' feeling and is probably the reason Pokemon has been so slow (I actually have a load recorded).
Does anyone know of any software which is easy to use like WMM (and doesn't require millions of tutorials like I've heard Premiere/Vegas etc have) but it good and effective? Would be much appreciated :D

So, Transformice wouldn't load for me so I went back to playing EP2 for a while, and it turns out the multiplayer is a lot of fun. Anyone else played it? http://armorgames.com/play/11887/exit-path-2

Metallica have just been announced for Download UK 2012, playing Metallica (The Black Album) in full! Should be awesome for anyone going...

Can you remember my Grandson's name?POKEMON: THE LEAGUE OF GETEHEM HAS ARRIVED! Qualifying is over, and the full league is underway! First, the Wildcard Melee will let 4 runners-up battle out for the last place in the league, then the real action commences! All the Pokemon have received all their badges, and all they need now is to get through Qualifying. Qualifying will occur in the form of all Pokemon taking on my sacrificial Diglett. Scoring will occur on 3 basis 1. How quickly you can KO Diglett This is worth the most, and if you KO it you are already above any who don't. 2. How many points you score If you both survive the match, you will be based on points - this is not worth as much as a KO, but more than... 3. How quickly YOU are KOed/Immobilized. Obviously worth the least. The top 7 will get auto-entry, the next 4 will have to battle in a Wildcard to try and win the last place. IN ORDER - remember, the top 7 go through to the league, with 8-11 being put in the Wildcard.
1. Metagross - KO - 0:06 2. Aerodactyl - KO - 0:08 3. Klink - KO - 0:10 4. Sandslash - KO - 0:14 5. Excadrill - KO - 0:23 6. Garbodor - KO - 0:25 7. Magikarp - KO - 0:45 8. Skorupi - KO - 1:31 9. Bastiodon - KO - 1:40 10. Cryogonal - Immobilization - 0:25 11. Clamperl - Immobilization - 1:08 12. Tauros - Immobilization - 1:18 13. Crustle - WBP - 1023 points 14. Kabutwins - WBP - 915 points 15. Sharpedo - Immobilized. LEAGUE VIDEOSKlink (S_M) vs Metagross (Jack Daniels) -

May I introduce, PokAImon. PokAImon is a future mod I envision working on.It will eventually combine new bots, new UI, new music and new arenas.Version 1 will be very basic - probably only the bots from Pokemon: The League of Getehem, and the tournament arena. However, from there, I would like to expand. People can send me in 3-bot teams or update their team (the 3-bot PKMN:GTM entries will be added as a user team in Version 1) and could potentially use cheatbot2 components and/or custom components, hopefully balanced to DSL standards. Also, I hope to replace some in-game music and UI.Yes, I realise this may become quite a task, and this means I will take a break from tournament running after PKMN:GTM and RIP3 (Yes, already in the pipeline) to work on this and RIPAI updates.Any thoughts? Ideas? Really, I just created this thread to let you know my future endeavors, and hopefully create a bit more buzz for PKMN:GTM, which I think is going to be amazing. :DUPDATE 1: Music PreviewsUPDATE 2: Logo

SIGNUPS CLOSED! o: 1) BUILDING RULES a) DSL 2.1 HW b) 200kg allowance for walkers (Walking multibots must obey this 1000kg rule) c) Must bear a GOOD resemblance to a Pokémon (See the Paras/Dugtrio battle). d) NO SNS/SS/FBS – sorry, these will be far too battle effective. e) Realistic rules apply f) No glitches/outside modifications allowed, apart from those intended for realism. g) Multibots allowed to maximum of 2 (may NOT be different Pokemon unless very well connected – good examples of Pokemon Multibots would be Exeggcute, Plusle/Minun and Nidoran(M)/Nidoran(F). THEY MAY BE THE SAME POKEMON, as long as the joint weight DOES NOT exceed the either 800kg or 1000kg weight limit.)
2) COMPONENTS a) 123’s mini hovercraft may be used for bird/flying Pokemon. b) No cheatbot2/custom components other than reskins c) Reskinned components are allowed, as long as you make them as a new style/component and don’t overwrite any DSL components. Stats will be checked for changes, changes = ban.
3) MATCHES a) The arena will be a reskinned Replica Wars Arena b) 3 minute match time, with instant elimination. c) 1 Havok restart, if I deem the Havok to have affected the battle significantly.
4) SIGNUP SPECIFICS a) Up to 3 Pokemon can be submitted, so you have a choice for the gym/league battles. If a choice is not submitted, I will pick it at random. EDIT: All 3 Pokemon are now entered as individual entries, rather than you having a choice between which is used. This rule change was approved by JoeBlo on the 17th October. b) ALL ROBOTS WILL BE CHECKED BY ME, because at the end of the day, this tournament is FUN, not for battle-effective destroying machines. I prefer to think of it as artbot-with-weapons. c) Pokemon can be upgraded once, but not replaced. d) Any denied Pokemon have 1 chance to be made acceptable, or that specific robot will be banned. e) SIGNUPS CLOSE AT 16:00 UTC ON WEDS 19TH OCTOBER f) I can AI, but with so many robots to AI it would speed things up to no end, and help me out, by sending me bindings. If you don't know how, please try and learn. Thank you :)
5) TOURNAMENT PROCEEDINGS a) Unlimited slots. b) The stages- Stage 1: Signups Stage 2: Qualifiers (How long can you last against a Pokemon made by me/How long does it take to defeat it) Stage 3: 1vs1 League Battles Stage 4: Final Battle and Crowning of Pokemon Master!
6) HAVE FUN! a) Have fun. b) Have fun c) Enjoy yourself d) Have fun. e) Remember, this tournament is all about having fun. Making stuff that looks nice. Don't go all combat effective on me and make me have a sad face.
ENTRANTS:Each entrant will be listed here, with Robot/Pokemon names beside. A + symbol indicates it has used its update. An (X) indicated a banned robot.Red = Problem/Denied. Black = Received. Orange = Accepted. Green = Ready to go.397. Craaig - Magikarp+ Feebas Arceus(X) 1. Clickbeetle - Garbodor Sandslash2. Conraaa - Crustle Clamperl3. Jack Daniels - Magikarp Metagross4. Yes, Rust In More Pieces is finally done, and RIPAI will be released soon (Yeah, I've been secretly working on making it work :3) Due to it's nature, there cannot be many awards, however, you may vote on - Most Surprising Match - Favourite Match (Voting ends 2nd Oct... not sure when o.o) Also, I'd like to put results for the more major tournament aspects here, as the bracket thread is very cluttered. Any prizes will also be in these result spoilers. Vertigo wins - guaranteed entry into one of my next 2 tournaments G.K. wins - guaranteed entry into one of my next 2 tournaments Finally, I apologize so much for this taking so long. To anyone planning a tournament like this after running several normal ones - don't do it. Part of the fun of running a tournament is not knowing what will happen and watching events unfold, however this was mightily predictable and very boring, and with circumstances I've endured over the last year, I haven't had much enthusiasm. HOWEVER. I would like to announce my next tournament. Pokemon: The League of Getehem More information... soon. :) Thankyou for putting up with the slowness, I hope it's been vaguely enjoyable Craaig

Yes, it's in CAD Showcase because there's nowhere suitable but it's designed (CA D), and S_R's card models fit well in Artwork Thread so I thought I'd put it here. Basically, I cleaned up earlier and got a total Nostalgia moment when I found my Knex, and proceeded to recreate monSTAR, as best I could, using Knex. Anyone else get a little nostalgic? XD

Just cleaning out under my bed and uncovered the frankly awful 'Sir Killalot vs Robo Babe - Robot Wars (Android Love)' single... anyone else heard it? I had serious laughs when I heard it (':
Found the video if anyone wishes to witness the... awful.
