The gaps annoy me too but you can't put wedge edges on the edge of triangle pieces so there's nothing I can do about it unfortunately
That’s a shame, I suppose there’s not enough weight to pull some extender trickery? We’ll take DC’s suggestion and call it ventilation.
Side note; I like VS a few posts up too.
Yeah the 160kg of counterweights needed so that it can actually lift stuff doesn't give me a lot of weight to play with unfortunately. I can maybe have a crack at trying to shed some weight by changing the front from steel to Ti though. Will see how it goes when I get home.

Looks well thought out, pretty compact and solidly put together! Aesthetically, the colour scheme works well although if I had to have a minor nitpick it would be the tiny gaps at the top between the triangle pieces, is there enough space/weight to fill with a wedge edge piece?

Another. Been wanting to make a Razer motor lifter ever since I first found the component, and finally managed to implement it in a way that I think is cool, and can actually self right. After many failed attempts to get bots to self right using the razer motor itself, I finally threw in the towel and gave a bot a dedicated srimech. This is the result. Lifter works rather well with 160 KG of counterweights (Ideally I'd have more but weight is a limiting factor here) and it CAN self right with the srimech (Though it annoyingly glitches into the ground a fair amount of the time. Don't really see how I can prevent that though). TWMR2 drive, steel front with alu everywhere else, 799.1 KG. Pics: Exterior: Interior:

Crashes on startup for me every time I try to run it. If I had to guess at the cause I'd say it might be that I have sh**ty integrated intel HD graphics on my laptop, but I can't be certain. I could well have ****ed up the install somehow. Here's the popup I get. I can also send you the crash logs if you'd like.

I like it, some more angles to see it from would be cool.
Here you go!

Here's another. It's a VS based on a prawn for whatever reason.Called it Prawn of the Dead because a pun name for a bot like this is a necessity. Just inside the CW limit at 599.7 KG. Dual NPC fast drive which is possibly a bit too fast, and dual flatmotors for the weapon. Spent ages trying to crowbar a perm in there but it wasn't happening. Looks a lot cooler and more like a prawn with the disc and its supports removed but it sorta has to have a weapon of some kind and despite my best efforts to get a HS or flipper to look halfway decent this was the best solution I could get. That looks pretty cool man, two questions 1. is it fast with that drive/ wheel setup? 2. does it get stuck on it's back or side?
It's not massively fast but it's certainly not slow either. A fairly good level. Shouldn't get stuck anywhere since all of the sides of it are sloped in some way.

isnt the flipper arm at the end a tad too short?
Was sorta designed to be that short, though in hindsight you're probably right.

Just to let everyone know since I got asked about it, this tourney is still gonna go ahead as planned, I was planning on waiting for my new laptop though before I start recording though as it will make for a much smoother experience for both me recording and everyone watching.

*insert passive aggressive comment about nobody giving feedback here* Here's a new bot tho. This is Ultraviolet. Sorta meant to be a combo of Bronco, T-minus and a few of my own ideas. Pretty happy with how it came out. Front armour is a combo of Ti and Steel while the rest is Alu. Flipper is powered by 1 large VDMA R/P and drive is 2 TWMR2 drives. 793.2KG Pics: Exterior: Interior:

Here's another one. This is Staccato. Original intent was to clone Fury from Robotica but I started making changes early on and came out with this. Fairly pleased with it as it's somewhat unique looking which is what I generally hope for. May change the colour scheme in the future though. It's black and white for a piano aesthetic to go with the name, but I feel that it doesn't really fit with the eyes or design in general. Specs wise it has 2 flatmotors for the weapon and drive is 2 TWMR drives for either side, and 2 astros, which makes for a surprisingly quick combo on and underweight 766.7 KG. Congrats on making the sir killalot claws not look like ass. That spinner design is really cool. Bot itself looks just a tad too long for a 2WD spinner for me though. If you could convert it to 4WD, or make it shorter in overall length it would look really cool though.

Whoa that looks nice, A unique weapon setup indeed
Thanks! Can't really say the weapon setup is unique though given the resemblance to Gulden's bot.

Here's the result of building at 7AM without having slept yet. This is Bastet. Dual mini minion disc spinner. Credit to Gulden as he featured a similar bot in his trailer for GRL2 which I thought was really cool and inspired me to do my own spin on it. 2 perm 132s for the weapon and 2 NPC fasts for the drive (Though I may reduce it to regular NPCs since it seems a little too fast for its own good ATM as it flips itself on occasion.) Really destructive as is though and fits into the HW limit too. 799.8 KG Pics: Exterior: Interior:

Double post but here's a pic of the new updated (and definitely IRL) version of Raiden. Switched the wide med burst to a regular med, which is slightly less powerful but avoids some clipping that was going on with the old burst setup. Still has enough power to OOTA with ease. Used the extra weight to upgrade to 45 degree angle pieces on the wedge, which I think look better too, and to upgrade some miscellaneous pieces on the front to steel to help tank spinners even more.

IRL or not, I love it! (Although it's weird to see you not using your usual colours...) Reminds me a bit of Gemini!
TY. Made a conscious effort to go for a different colour scheme than the usual. Also made a version with a regular medium burst instead of a wide medium that's definitely IRL and is very nearly as powerful too. Will probably throw that version in GTMCS2

New bot. Wanted to have a crack at a 4 bar flipper (or as close as you can get in RA2) and came out with this. Surprisingly really effective. 1 large and 1 wide med VDMA bursts for the weapon and dual NPC fasts for drive. Armour is Steel on the front with a Ti bottom panel and the rest being Alu. Probably gonna be my GTMCS2 IRL division entry as it's really effective and I THINK it's IRL, though I'll let Badnik be the judge of that. Pics: Exterior: Interior:
