Thoughts and predictions on these bots:

Adopted Nazi: Looks kinda fragile and it's quite narrow.  For a Popup, that's not a real good thing.

Butterfly Sting: Doesn't look like the best popup here, but it might dish out some damage and go far.

Complexertivity: Speed might be its only benefit as it is very underweaponed for an HS.

Crouching Robot, Hidden Bear: While it's a dangerous overhead poker, it is super slow.  That might be it's biggest downfall.

Darts.02: It has some defenses, but it's got nothing else.  I'll cut some slack for Joe as it is his first tournament.

DONT TREAD ON ME: Might go far as this is in the Ring Arena, but without frontal protection, that's quite bad.

Hope And Dreams: Might be pretty good at trapping, but it doesn't have much for taking advantage of that, but the bot's pretty good overall

Long Schlong: This might be a bot that might have issues since it's quite fragile and doesn't have too much protection.

Radioactive Whale: Since the back claw is useless overall, it might not go very far as a lot of things are exposed like hell.

Re\/olution: AGOD might be a contributing factor for if it bounces or not.  But it's not too bad since it's like an overhead poker, but unlike S_Ms bot, it has some speed to back it up.

Rules of Nature: For what is (technically) the only hammer here, I think I might do quite well considering my match-ups.

Rough N' Tumble: The narrow length might be good for wedge wars, but might be bad for attacking the opponent.  Could be decent here.

Starburst III: Probably the toughest popup here, but the wedges will be a contributing factor if it does well or not.

VRI-6C: This popup has quite the number of armor, so it might be a great tank and take out those bots with bad wedges or those with none at all.

Zealot: Love this bot as it's (technically) the only hybrid and it's a rare breed to boot.  Might be great at gut-ripping opponents.  This might be one to look out for

Zoom Zoom Flip-Kun!: It's fast, but very fragile.  So, it's gotta hope for a good toss.

Overall, I like the variety and quality here with the entrants.  I'm pretty much on the same boat as Geice in terms of variety.  Good luck folks.

Oh great, I love you so much RedAce.
I at least gave you a chance :P
Honestly, I was trying to go for a bit of irony for what i picked for you.

But yeah, a clamp?  Interesting.  I just hope I don't clone Guard Duty for my final result.

Fun Fact: I was originally going to use Mjolnir for that challenge to see if I could get some use out of that hammer.  So, If I did go with with that plan, it would've been D5 all over again.

...Oh right.  The bot.  Pretty cool.  How long did it take you for the SuperVolt + CB stack?

Nice job with Iron Phoenix.  I knew someone had to make a better version of the homage than what I did for BOTM.  (Although, I couldn't get exactly what I was going for since the weight limit was HW and not SHW)

And I swear you built something like Undertaker 2 before (twice).  But that and Nix is pretty cool as well.

I'm surprised you didn't give Patriot a round chassis and make it a servo turret hammer.  That one looks good but suspiciously like something you would build in stock.
Good point actually.  I never actually thought of trying a servo turret bot.  While hard to make efficient, as it's formidable at the moment, it would add some diversity to the hammers in the pack.

And thanks for the other suggestions.  I might consider those for the next update.

I guess one of the more recent movies I have seen was Pixar's Inside Out.  My thoughts?  Well, just watch Caddicarus's video on it.  I agree with everything he said in that video about it.

obligatory thoughts and predictions post

Unnecessarily High Res Skin: Like the looks of this.  As long as the wedges are fine, this should be okay.

Green Mile: A 3WD Car Steering HS.  Yeah, I'm a goner.

Nuclear Load Q: Not a whole lot different from when it was last seen (was it entered before?  I forget).  It should do quite well.

Henchman: Seems a little bit overkill on the weapons, so that might be a problem against anything that can gut-rip it and remove the pitons easily.

You have to take out their families: This bot would be fine if there was a lot of HS, but I don't see many here.  That might harm it then.

Ball: Since it can beat Popups in a tournament where popups are banned, this is one to watch out for.

Screwdriver: Looks a bit unstable and a bit fragile.  Other than that, it looks vicious.

Kamikaze Attack: One of the few re-entries, so that's good.  With the arena choice here, it might go far.

Overall, lots of cool bots in a tournament that filled up even faster than Beetle Bashers.  Along with that, a lot of these bots look great and aren't as overused as dank memes.  Good luck everyone.

Actually, I think 09's shouldn't be allowed since it uses custom components.  I know they are just re-skins, but that's in the rules, which should make the bot illegal.  I know it's the hosts call in the end, but I thought I should say something.  No offense 09.

995
two cent question : guess this bot's name
Mini Emergency?  Fatal Emergency?  Emergency Jr.?  I still think it should be named Emergency baby in my opinion.

The bot itself looks pretty good.  How strong are the Emergency wedges?  If they are fragile, then that might hurt this bot a bit.

Update to Shogun and two more bots for Team Dragon.

Replaced the spike strips for samurai swords, and got the ronin flags on there since I felt Shogun was incomplete without them.  The downgrades was the armor (from 5mm Steel to 5mm Titanium I think) and shorter wedges.  It was done to help it self right.

When building this one, I noticed that the carbon fiber extenders now have an attachment point on the flat ends, which helped a lot with this one.  Rule of seven kinda got in the way, but it's pretty good I think.

Call it a BW Samurai with a slightly weaker weapon motor and low battery life.  Other than that, it's alright.  It can self right very efficiently and, it's quite maneuverable.

I'll probably send these tonight before I forget again.

Does anyone know where I can download the V4 Beta ? I can't find it anywhere.
Here's the DL for SC V4. We really need a good place for this (homepage under AI?) since i had to search for it.

There's no Beta for this though, so this is the closest thing you'll get.

Damn it, I was gonna do that once I had some time.

Ah well.  Still hilarious though.  Will this one be able to work with the Ring Arena start points?  :P
