Another new one. HW this time. Wanted to do a sorta rounded flipper and came up with this. Mix of Steel, Titanium and Aluminium armour, dual medium VDMA bursts for the flipper so it's pretty damn powerful. Dual NPC fasts which give it decent speed too. Pretty pleased with it all in all. Pics:

That is impressive to get all that an a MW, as always a wonderful build from you
It was an absolute pain to get it in the MW limit. There was a bunch of stuff I wanted to add to it but couldn't due to weight. Thanks for the feedback!

Some neat AF bots in here. The angle spinner config of Arcane's bot reminds me of Twister from the old Lego RW series on YT. Neon's bot also looks really cool too, particularly the flipper config.
Looking forward to seeing how the tournament pans out. If Titchmarsh wins a fight I'll be surprised as hell.

New one. MW for Wen's tourney. Wheels annoy me a bit but other than that I'm happy with it. 398.9KG so right on the weight limit. Alu everything with the exception of the front white triangles which are Ti. Probably doesn't stand a chance but I think it looks fairly cool for an MW so I'm relatively happy with it. Flipper is powered by a storm burst and drive is 2 TWMRs Pics:

Looks neat although I don't really like the wedgelet setup you've got on there. Would look better as a conventional wedge IMO

Checking out the site, the filming dates are pencilled in for March 24-April 9 2018, shooting in Los Angeles, CA.
That's not a lot of time for a new team to build a Heavyweight robot for the event, but it's possible for a few teams to build a robot within the strict time limit before the event if they really work straight on it, seeing that this happen with the reboot of Robot Wars. But it's nice to hear the news for the fans of the show to rejoice after over a year and a half waiting.
If you read Phillipa's other post you'd know that they already told several teams months ago and hence they've already started work on upgrading/building new bots.

Looks good, but could really do with a bottom panel of some kind.

Hmm. It's very similar to Squirrel Monkey's latest which kinda takes away from it IMO. Well built as usual though

Considering the size of the chassis, i had to cram some stuff [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] Also some Minor skinning stuff [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
Can you not make it IRL?

Bingo [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
I meant 45 degree extenders but that looks good too. Probably better than what I was suggesting actually.

I like it a lot. My only suggestion would be to add some angle pieces to the front of the wheelguards to make it flow into the wedge a bit better.

Havn't build a bot in a while

Very nice. It's rare to see a unique design for a drumbot so this is very refreshing. Good stuff as always Thy

Entries for Orc's Wars here.
Dingle Dangle is a super scaled up version of the original LW that was in Sword Of Glory. Surprisingly stable considering the six 270 degree axles chained together.
Remember GTM Robot Wars? No, me neither. Anyway, here's Lobstertastic!, the follow on to Lobsteriffic! that looks a lot more like a lobster and also makes use of stuff like RA2CF and DSC's multicoloured extenders.
And a new ring spinner that's hopefully kinda potent. I dunno, I haven't had time to test it. It's got a 6-Mag in there, though, sooooooo...
The mace design on dingle dangle is super neat although I'm not sure I believe you that it's stable with that amount of axles Girl power looks pretty good too. Should be fairly potent

There's only one thing I'd change about it and that's having the triangles on the top angled to the side a bit using some leftover weight
Done! It's rather subtle but I'm sort of limited because I have components attached to the fins so I can't have them at too steep an angle.

Threw together a quick splash for Sabre III. Also includes an internals shot for those who are interested.
