New bot. Oh, and I used the snipping tool to get the picture, by the way...

my eyes probably got 99% damaged by looking at the first picture you posted.

I fail to see how it hurts your eyes. It doesn’t affect me a single bit

Try to spice it up. The “Box-with-wheels” syndrome is so repetitive.

New robot...

removing the armor to show you a glimpse of the working drive train...

the lifter and hammer assembly and mechanics...

This bot has a working lifter that can levitate twice its own weight and a working hammer, that's pretty effective. This concept even has a detailed interior with working drive trains! Look closely at the lifter assembly, and you'll be able to notice the linear actuator that operates it.

Yeah, it's a color-swap software. The white areas of the bots are seams and gaps in the designs. Don't worry. I wont do this type of software again if it hurts your eyes so much...

I thought I'd share some of the bots I build out of lego- one point- I like to build BIG!
I got fancy with backdrops and effects as you can tell...

Flipper. It was built to run on power functions.

Vertical Spinner. Also ran on power functions.

This lifter can actually lift other bots of its size off the ground. The lifter is operated with only one motor.

Nice build. I assume you're using DSL 2.3, due to the components you're using?

I'm currently developing a beetleweight...
Why dont you actually post the pic of a bot instead of announcing it like that?
Most of the time youll doublepost

Good point.

Honestly, blue snappers aren't bad for popup wedges. If you angle them just right, they can be seriously effective. The shorter the setup, the better.

I'd recommend DDTs, because they pin wedges down with excessive force.
a ddt wedge is beyond a a waste of weight at lw level

you need to stop giving bad advice to people who are more experienced than you

I know you're all more experienced than I am.
...but I learned this from trying it out in RA2.

Looks good. Reminds me of my popup- Behind Bars.

Plastic armor?
yes

no, it's DSA.

That explains why it has snappers instead of DDTs...

Those, again, blow my mind. Try modifying Growler to use one of those technic actuators to give it some more bite.
Other than that, nicely done.
Thanks!

But again, I have no more actuators I can use.

Okay.

I'm getting the idea of adding irons for ramming weapons, but are they good? because I see them a lot in NAR AI and the DSL 2.1 AI packs.
2.1 AI packs aren't really the best guide for effectiveness since 2.2 rebalanced stuff pretty drastically.

Any ideas for weapons? The VLAD spears are good, I know that...
