Tournament Archives / Re: Trios of Terror II - SBV« on: June 03, 2016, 05:42:05 PM »The wait is over boys. It's up now.The wait is actually killing meI know right? Congrats to... Thanks to everyone who has competed, for watching this tournament unfold, and of course, to Thrackerzod for helping with the idea. I honestly never thought of something this simple for the sequel. As for my next tournament... well, I'm probably not gonna do one. I'm pretty much wiped from doing these and I feel it's better to just join them rather than host them (challenge matches are a different story). So, if anyone is willing to, I'm giving the rights to every tournament series I've done so far to anyone who wants to do any of them. I'm glad with the outcome and how fast these went. Oh, and I'm still up for grudge matches, so suggest them within the next seven days, cause that's when I'm gonna record them and wrap this up. 864

Oh yeah. While I edit the next round, If you have any grudge matches with a specific team that you would like me to do, then let me know and I'll edit this post with the suggestions I have thus far. I would like you to suggest only one for me to do as opposed to three or four. So keep that in mind please. Thanks.

Loser's Round 3 is now up. Assuming nothing goes wrong, I might actually finish this tournament tonight.

So you're somewhat going down the BBEANS route with how the weightclass and game is done. Alright then, seems pretty self-explanatory. I'll probably enter.
Edit: Just noticed the illegal entries rule. I get why you put that in, but it seems kinda strict in my opinion. 870

Bought this game on Steam around 3-4 months ago (mainly to play with Mouldy and Neigh during online matches), and have enjoyed it. The game has such a huge focus on its engine and it definitely shows. The ball is hard to knock into your goal, but that makes it satisfying once you've scored. Online and offline matches are equally as fun to me. I mean, what can I say that hasn't already been said. It's addicting and a lot of fun to mess around with.
If I had to mention one problem, it's that the camera isn't the best as neither camera angles give a good enough view of the ball. The normal camera is a bit too jerky for my liking and doesn't focus much on the ball. Unfortunately the ball camera suffers from the opposite as it focuses too much on the ball and makes it hard to really see what I'm doing. But even then, that doesn't harp on me much and is still a lot of fun to play. I highly recommend this game to anyone really. Especially willing to those who want to have some great multiplayer fun and fans of soccer/football with cars. My Rating: 9.5/10 872
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Badger's Bots (DSL Showcase)« on: June 02, 2016, 02:30:39 PM »
Looking pretty good, but how the drive is done scares me. And I think it's based off an F1 car or something.
And I know this is a bit off topic, but ya might wanna put the thread up for your challenge (unless it's waiting for approval at this point). 873

Got the Round 3 Matches done (a lot quicker than what I was expecting). And these feature some of my favorite matches thus far.

Loser's Round 2 Matches are up and the brackets are updated now.
Can you have my SNS just spin in place next match instead of doing whatever it was doing in the first match?Well, I tried to, but I couldn't quite get it to work. I'm using FBS_2.py, but I couldn't quite get it to sit in place initially. Sorry bro. Besides, you never sent me the AI lines like you said you would. 876

Thanks guys. Weird, because I swore I tried that, but when I was previewing the OP, it didn't show up. That got me worried, so I tried plan B: Create URLs with the who is fighting who. But we're all set.
This is kind of a random thing to notice, but I like how the arena skin makes the wall look like it has parapets, like it's the top of some kind of tower or something.Thanks. That wasn't my intention as the ring arena wall skins are kinda weird. When I saw how it looked in the game, I kinda liked how it looked and kept it. I didn't notice the videos had those cool custom title cards in. That's a nice touch. Thanks again. I thought it would prevent spoilers for the match while adding which team is fighting what for convenience in the process. But now that we're done with the slightly off-topic things, I'll get the next four matches out soon. Probably later tonight. |
