also I can't see RedAce's entry
Yugi probably named the file after the actual name of the bot.  My best bet would be to go to Look and Layout on your Forum Profile and check the "Leave words uncensored" box if you wanna see it.

But yeah, I think Thrack, Badger, and myself have a pretty good chance at this.  This will be interesting.

Existing Games / Re: Undertale
« on: July 07, 2016, 10:07:12 PM »
Finally got around to playing this game about a month or two ago.  I've been meaning to make a review of this for a while, but I wanted to play the whole game before giving out my thoughts from just one pathway.  Unfortunately, I can't really tell some of my favorite moments without spoiling the game.  And Undertale is really a game where you should just play the game blind rather than watch a let's play of it beforehand.  But I will say that I enjoyed the game and is well worth the ten dollars on Steam.  Without spoiling anything, I can say that on how you play the game can ultimately decide if you like the game or not.  But that's really all I can say without going deep into the things I liked and disliked without spoiling anything.  So, read the rest at your own risk.

Not sure if this is off-topic or not as it is tournament discussion related, but anyway...

I believe the only reason we (me, Sage, RedAce and Kill) haven't pushed for the RA2 League to happen yet is because we were worried it would lose a lot of interest if people moved on to RA3.
I've also been meaning to get a practice stream up and going for a while, but I've been busy with college and ToT 2 and all that, so it's been on the back burner for a while.  I also have had to take care of work schedule that has been increasing over the past few days.  I'm still up for doing it.  I just need to do some work arounds.  If all goes well, I could stream a practice tourney next Saturday unless I get some sudden things that will take up that night.

tl;dr Still interested in this.  Might make a practice stream soon.

I can host.
For your own match?  No you can't.  You need someone other than you or DG to do it.

I did a full bracket prediction for the heck of it:

(Image removed from quote.)
Dude, you're expecting me to win a wedge war, against Badger.  Other than that, I think it might turn out similarly to that.

I apologize for uploading these so late, but the grudge matches are now uploaded.  However, I forgot to put it on the list, but I would like to get one more grudge match out by Thursday before I call it good for this tournament.  What is it?  Well, I thought of doing a match between the champions of Trios of Terror 1 an 2.  By now you should know who they are, but I'll stay silent to avoid spoilers.

Wait, you weren't doing the RC57 shenanigans as a prank?  Oh God, I'm so sorry you had to go through that pain.

But anyway, I don't expect myself to go far but like Silverfish said, I'm here to have some fun.  Good luck chums.

I have mixed feelings about the new design.  It's intimidating, but it looks more like Major Damage than Killalot.  That's me though.

Whatever works for you.  If you're willing to put yourself through a Swiss tournament, that's cool with me.

And yeah, sure I'll enter.  Unrealistic DSL sounds interesting.

Y'know, I actually was thinking of making a Stock 3 wheel drive tournament at one point, before Trios of Terror II.  Was hoping someone else would so that I didn't have to make one.

I'll enter.  Debating if I should just use those multibots I used for 09's challenge or make something new.

While I would kinda like to see one play out, it'll probably just have bunch of bots that are just flat out invincible and impossible to KO.  In my opinion, you're gonna have to try little harder than THAT probably gonna need to put in a special gimmick that could give the pseudo hax mode bots at a disadvantage to the point where they don't make the metagame unfair as SSBB.  Maybe a specific weightclass for the use of component intersection?  I dunno.  I still want to at least have the ability to use the SergePatcher as it makes stacking components and loading components on SnapperIIs much less tedious in my opinion.

DSL TC Showcases / Re: RedAce's DSL Network

Welp, I got a bunch of bots to put here.

DSL bot for Trios of Terror II.  It's really meant to be a defensive trooper to score points rather than kill.  I probably didn't need the wedge edges for the back, but I had some weight, and I couldn't think of much else to use it on.

Cauldron 2 Entry.  I kinda wanted to be unorthodox and make a poker/juggler hybrid.  From what I've tested on, and by that, I mean my Frenemy Rumble entry and my Big Metal Friend for NAR AI, it's not bad.  Normals kinda hurt it unfortunately.

Cookie for whoever can guess where I got the name.  This thing is kinda slow spinning, but it does better when not moving with melty brain.  Sadly, when I was AI'ing it, I couldn't get this to turn counter clockwise with FBS_2.  So I had to use FBSPlus, which makes this spin slower, and that is not fun.

Generic IRL Bar Spinner.  Because why not?  I wasn't quite sure what to do with decals with the skin, so I just slapped a name and symbol on the top and thought it was fine.  Might add more to it in the future.  Framework could've been better, but I was kinda short on weight, and I didn't want to give up weaker chassis armor.

I'll send my bot soon.  I'm trying to work out a few AI'ing bugs at the moment.

Okay.  I'm cool with whatever mod and weightclass you prefer.
Feeling like a DSL BW match. You cool w/ the RA2t#2 arena?
Yeah, those sound good.

I can host now that Rival Rumble is done.
Fantastic.  Thanks.
