Oh also I upgraded it to 6WD TWMR drives instead of 6WD slimbodies to use up the spare weight. Much faster now.

Uni work ramped up right as I started this and I had a bunch of stuff in my personal life happen that I'd rather not go into. In May I'll have a couple of months off uni where I should be totally free to run this thing. Sorry to everyone who's been waiting for the tourney that it's not earlier but it kinda seemed like the world was conspiring against me to get in the way of hosting this thing lol. 784

I did another thing. 6WD front hinge flipper thing with a steel wedge. Drive is 6 slimbodies which isn't amazing but seems nippy enough and the flipper is powered by a single storm burst. Seems fairly effective so far, bit underweight though at 753 KG.

I still think the narrow wedge looked cooler tbh

In addition to the glitches that Badnik mentioned there's also some kind of glitch with Eruption's self righting when controlled by a player. It tends to glitch out and launch the bot around and usually out of the arena even from the opposite side of the ring.
Gonna echo Badnik's praise though. This is the first build I've played of the game and the combat is already fun and addictive as hell. The botlab looks incredibly promising too. Will be watching how things develop extremely eagerly 788

Why do the beaters on the top and bottom not connect up?

Here's a thing. 4WD drumbot with a super narrow drum powered by a perm 80. 4 wheel drive TWMRs which I arranged in a kinda funky way to get fit, but it worked out okay looks wise I think. Very small VDMA on the srimech which seems to do a decent job of righting the thing too.

Reminds me of something from Series 3 or 4 of RW. I dig it. Ty both of you My building style does tend to gravitate to the original series of RW because I just feel the bots back then looked cooler, plus it's what I grew up watching

After being stuck in a rut building sh** for the past couple of days I think I've finally build something I'm happy with. This is chupacabra. HW (799.1 KG) lifter/flipper. Flipper is powered by a storm burst and drive is 2 TWMR2s. Armour is almost entirely steel with the exception of an Alu bottom panel. Tail is on an axle too so it can sorta act as a really sh**ty thwack too.

Have these been accepted? Cuz yeah there's definitely not enough support on any of the spinners other than the SHW

Here's another. Wanted to build a proper non-overhead HS because I've never done one, but simultaneously wanted to ovid building a tombclone like the plague. This is the result. Dual TWMR2 drive and a Perm 132 with 2 large typhoon teeth for the weapon. Ended up coming out more tombclone-y than I'd hoped but I still think it's decently unique.

Here's an underweight HW. 755.something kg. Largely steel construction. Dual NPC fasts for drive and a storm burst for the flipper

If we're reviving this thread then these two are definitely my favourite bots I've made. Cascade still has a place in my heart as the first non-sh** bot I built but these two are just so much better.
