I like the pink flipper a lot. Reminds me of General Carnage 2

Here's an HW front hinge design I've had in my mind for a bit now. Held off making it initially because I've made a lot of flippers lately but oh well. TWMR2s for drive and a storm burst for the flipper, which makes it surprisingly powerful due to the long reach of the arm. Front and sides are all steel with the rest being aluminium.

that's killer, it would be extremely deadly if you could find someway to make it a HW
Yeah it's a bit annoying but I just can't really see any way to drop the 250-ish KGS I'd need without making the bot totally useless. Might have a crack at it today nonetheless though.

Here's a hubmotor vert thing that was supposed to be an HW but came out as a slightly underweight SHW. Weapon motor is a 6mag and drive is 2 NPC fasts. Wedge is all steel with everything else being Alu.

I like this and the black front hinge alot. Did you darken the shade of the dark grey on it?
TY Thy  :heart_smiley:

Grey/blue is the same one as the old one, It's just on a light background so it looks darker by comparison I think.

Also rebuilt Particulator from scratch after the old one's dismal performance in the OW2 royal rumble. Tried to keep the design and shape similar as I still really like how the old one looks, but also tried to make some improvements in terms of effectiveness. Bar is now angled to attempt to hit lower bots more effectively, and I also went to a single piece replica bar to prevent the teeth from coming off and the bot becoming destabilised. Front wedge is now steel too so in the unlikely event of the bar coming off it should at least be able to tank some hits.

Dual TWMR2 drive like the old one so not too slow, and a 6mag for the bar so it packs a punch.

Here's a rarely sighted SHW. Kinda a development on that 6 wheeled thing I did a few days ago, but this is what I really wanted it to be like. Dropped to 4WD NPC fasts but they aren't completely exposed unlike on the other. Retained the front hinge flipper but it's now powered by 2 Vsmall VDMA bursts rather than a single storm front hinge. Armour has been upped too and looks have just generally been refined. 2 configs 2. 1 has a rear plough (which is my preferred config but has been disliked by just about everyone else who has seen it so far :V) and one with no plough.

Idea: make it bigger :dumb)

It's a real nice looking bot but aesthetically it looks like it belongs around the MW class, not HW.
Next step in size up on the plates would be way too big (I'd have to go from 40x70 triangles to 60x120).

And tbh I like the compactness of it even if it means that it has absolutely dogsh** battery life

'Nudda one. Flipper this time. Pretty happy with the visuals but it's super lacking in batteries. Weapon power is 2 small VDMAs while drive is dual TWMR2s. Front is all steel, most of the rest is Ti apart from the underside which is alu. The wokest part of this bot though is the batteries. It has 4 ants for the whole thing. There's absolutely nowhere to fit any more ants or any of the bigger batts so this is what I'm stuck with even though I could quite easily get weight to add more batts.

Managed to crowbar a perm 132 in there instead of an 80. Looks a lil worse but it's not too bad and it's worth the lil hit to aesthetics IMO. Also beefed up the supports a little cuz I thought they were slightly anaemic. 790.9kg now.

Here be a thing. Heavyweights with a single perm 80 as the weapon motor are the new meta tbh. Dual TWMR2s for drive due to space constraints, as well as 6 ant batts for power for the same reason. Should still get through a fight but they cost me weight. Not that it matters as it's still underweight for an HW at 773.9 KG. Front is all steel and the rest is Alu in terms of armour. This one's not a real fighter for sure but I'm fairly happy with how it came out looks wise.

I'm not a fan of the back of it tbh. Looks pretty boxy, and the motors clipping out slightly isn't great. Front looks good though.

Open your ra2.cfg and change whatever number it is to a 0.
Pretty sure it's cuz he's not done the trov glitch rather than that.

You need to perform this glitch to get Biohazard to not crash:

that's hella neat and you got a bit of weight to play with if needed
Bit less now since I buffed some of the armour panels to steel. Still got a little bit if need be though.

Very clean and neat. The window in the flipper and the overall shape of the front are highlights for me. Great work!
The window is actually the srimech on the back. Probably could have structured the splash better to highlight that in hindsight

TY both of you for the feedback though!

Seconding hop for square polycarb extenders. Makes sense since there's round ones and plates but no square extenders of the variety for some reason.

Shorter antennae would also be neat but that may just be my own personal boner for antennae showing.

APs on the edges of triangle plates so you can put wedge edges on them would be neat too. I did figure out a hanky ass way to do it with CF extenders but a proper way to would be neato

IMPORTANT - KO, in this tournament, is defined as when a robot loses directional movement or when any part of that robot touches the Out-of-Bounds area. So if one side of drive is disabled (all wheels/treads removed from left or right side), the robot will be considered KOed at the point it was immobilized.

Oh also I upgraded it to 6WD TWMR drives instead of 6WD slimbodies to use up the spare weight. Much faster now.
