is it...red herring
lol that's the first thing i did, check the picture filename
No but good try.  I put that there on purpose to throw you off, hence, red herring.

i would personally like to see more hammer and less rammer, like replacing the weapon rack with two snowplows and upgrading to ddts with more weapons
I'd do that too, but DDT's won't fit because I don't have much room from where the anchors are placed.  Even then if I could move them, I don't think I could fit the anchors in from where the ones holding the bracket wedges will get in the way.

Flamethrower/Hammer.
Okay (also snuck in a rammer thing if that's okay).

DSA, 2 Supervolts, Somewhat okay wedges, etc.

If anyone can guess the actual full name of this bot, then no joke, I'll +1 you for getting it (or at least close enough).

Schweet.  The eyes could be a little smaller, but other than that, this is very solid.  Has it been able to smoother any normal sized LW's at all?

Who is this "TheRoyalBadger" dude.  Sounds like a more narcissistic version of Badger.

Anyway, nice juggler, but I feel the claws might hinder due to the normals.  Impressed with the good wedges on it as well.  What did you slip the game for that to happen?

if there is a second season of this reboot (which is a bit doubtful)
Isn't it getting really good ratings despite the (obviously) low budget? Would be surprised if they dumped it after 1 season.
Huh, so it has.  I haven't been keeping up with the ratings of this show.  Alright, but I would still like the issues fixed for the next season.

Have we ever seen a drumbot in RW?
Well there's Barberous, Tornado, Tetanus Booster, Slicer in the Dutch series, Black and Blue, The Brute, Widow's Revenge...

Edit: Ninja'd by Conraaa.  Damn it.

Anyway, got around to watching all the episodes thanks to that Sir Killalot tumblr account.  It's okay, but I feel these could be handled a lot better.  The camera editing wasn't the best, the hosts feel like they are lacking a bit of enthusiasm along having Dara thinking he's funny, and the league format just dragged.  That last one really made me have a harder time watching these episodes.

Everything else was alright, but if there is a second season of this reboot (which is a bit doubtful) fix these issues that I and a lot of other people have mentioned here.

Luckiest Robot: Shadow Killer
Unluckiest Robot: Walking Tal
Conraaa You Should Not Have Accepted That: NOOB WARS ROBOT
Favourite Match: Not sure on this one atm.  There were too many good ones.
Favourite Bot: Deathwatch III
N00biest Robot: 30141104 (or whatever yugi's bot is called)

Also, thanks Conraaa for pulling through with this and getting through RC57's shenanigans.  The editing you've done with each match was also a nice touch.

But yeah.  I'll enter.  I probably have something lying my Robot Designs folder around that I can enter.

The DSL Reborn AI for me was one of the last things I just had fun doing.  The competitive scene for RA2 is just not interesting to me anymore.  I might be able to crank out new bot for a tournament (or just to make something I know will be trash just for the sake of making a bot for funsies), but because you need to have wedges to make anything good anymore.  When the wedge is trash, then all that effort in making an interesting robot is pretty much gone and it drains me.  The last time I actually had fun building something for a tournament was my Tricycle Takedown entry since I didn't really take it seriously but it was still fun to watch it fight.

I hate to say it myself, but I think I might be retiring from RA2 if there is nothing left that I am really looking forward to most likely by the end of the year (assuming GTM lasts that long).

I need to fap.
We don't need to know that, thank you very much.

Anyway, I'd try to just use one DDT as it doesn't require as much power as 2 Snapper2s.  Also, take out one one or two ramplates to get a little more weapons as well.  Of course, you probably need to completely resize the chassis to get the best results, but it should help.  Eh, at least it might turn into Externamus 7 or whatever incarnation it's on at this point.

The biggest problem with drones is that in order to have them fly, they need to be light enough to be lifted off the ground.  Flamethrowers are probably the only thing that a drone can use "properly" (in massive quotes) cause it's light enough to carry and can attack from above the ground.  Weapons like maces might  not work so well as you need the weight and force to leave a huge impact. Unfortunately with the nature of flying objects like drones, they're highly likely to flop airborne and drop to the ground, rendering them useless.  They're really only good for the judges for scoring active weapon points which has been here or there overall.

In other words, drones are useless.

Oh man, I remember this from my lurking days.  I miss these times.  I still can't believe I missed out in participating these (and I bet an actual CC5 is a far cry at this point).  Thanks for this Joe.  Looking forward to seeing the rest in the future.  :)

Update: Hey guys, thanks for being patient for the match.  I promised three days ago that I would get it it before I left for work and there is still no match to be seen.  I deeply apologize for making you wait this long, and I will get the match uploaded by the end of today (EST of course).  I'm really posting this so that I won't forget and I will update this post when everything is all said and done.

Edit: Alright, I finally got the match uploaded.  Here we are:
