[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] This Hamtaro is the only one to be upgraded (the old one isn't doing justice to me tbh)
Much better than the previous versions

That's cool man, he looks a bit cross eyed though
I've fixed the eyes being crossed now, although it looks more high than anything now :D Can I also just say thanks for being one of the few people who actually leaves feedback on peoples' showcases these days. Much love

Continuing my buildup for the next instalment of Orc's Wars, here's the third robot in the line of dumb ass clamps that I enter every series, that was started by Coelacanth and Mudskipper. This one aims to be a kind of hybrid of those two, with a sort of cross between a dustpan and a wedge, and the shape of the bot being somewhere between the two previous incarnations. Drive is dual NPC fasts which I've found to be more than sufficient on the previous versions, and the jaw is powered by a small VDMA. This one also has a separate motor for the srimech unlike Mudskipper, which is powered by another small VDMA burst. The front is obviously all steel as this is designed primarily as a spinner killer (Which each incarnation has been reasonably effective at doing so far) while the rest is a mix of Ti, Alu, and then a small amount of poly for the top panel.

That is awesome, there isn't any suggestions I have to improve it
Thank you! I'm pretty damn happy with it myself at this stage too actually. Think after many attempts I've finally got Sabre to exactly where I want it to be both looks and performance wise.

Wahey time to resurrect this thread. Here's my top 50 for 2018. Changed a fair bit since the last one.

Tag Team Terror is here after a OW hiatus! Hope you all enjoy it!
Good grief this event was a lag fest!

I'm in a clique, but I want out. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
Absolute tune Bot looks pretty good. I feel it would look better if the wedge was just a hair wider than the bot itself though. Also the way the triangles on top are mounted to the drum is a bit iffy IMO. There's basically zero contact area between them and the drum which makes them look like they're held on by almost nothing.

So I made a new version of Sabre. This one, like 2 was, is an iterative improvement rather than a total rebuild like the third version was, but from my testing it has made a really big difference in terms of effectiveness. The biggest change is a 20cm reduction in length compared to Sabre III, which makes the bot more manoeuvrable, as well as saving around 150KGs, which has been spent up-armouring the bot (All the sides and front remains steel, while the top is now also steel instead of aluminium, and the bottom is all titanium instead of Alu too). Drive remains 2 NPC fasts and the weapon is still powered by a storm burst too. Here's a pic that better shows the overall reduction in length too.

Really like it, looks super nice. Only thing i'd suggest trying to see how it looks is BFEing the discs on the end of the wheels in a bit so it looks more like the rims, I think it would just add something cool to them. Up to you though
Thanks! I actually faffed about for a while to get the discs on the wheels placed the way they are there. Getting them further in would be pretty easy, but I was going for something kinda like the discs Wild Thing had on its wheels in series 5, where they're flush or close to flush with the surface of the tyre. Thanks for the feedback though

That is beautiful my man, the only thing I'd suggest is little wedglets on the front
Done, plus a few other small visual changes. Only went for fairly small wedgelets because I think they looked best, but it definitely adds something I think.

Wanted to do something with Etek Drives for drive and this is what I ended up with. Quickly realised it was never gonna be an HW so I tried to tart it up a fair bit and this is the result. Dual drive eteks for the drive along with a perm 132 for the weapon. The big ol' front plough is all steel while most everything else is Alu.

I'm a fan of all of them except the first two. The tooth setup on Virtus is really ugly IMO and I'm not entirely sure about the little feeder wedge bit on the front either (I know there's bots like Shard with a similar setup to that but I'm not really a fan of it looks wise). I can't really put my finger on what it is about Shock Collar that I'm not a fan of but there's just something about it.
Other than that they're excellent though. I'm a fan of Eucastrophe in particular. Nicely executed.

Step in the neon nature [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
Why didn't you attach the bars so they look like 1 cohesive part rather than the way they are now?

[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] LW, I guess. Wish I could find the weight for some more motor support but whatever.
The weapon setup just doesn't look right at all to me. Bot itself is pretty nice though.

The bot above was a second atempt at a somewhat Aftershock inspired VS. This is the first one: [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
With different teeth and a little more support for the drum that would be sick as well. You're knocking it out the park as usual Thy

I like the new Boolean, keep up the good work lad
Those front triangular wedge thingys on the front are mmmmm
Possibly my favorite robot of yours in a while, its absolutely fantastic!
Glad people like it Had been feeling a bit burned out with building recently but I think I've managed to get back to the place I want to be. Hopefully more cool looking stuff to come.

Given that some people like it I've made some updates to Boolean to make it better looking and more viable. Drive remains 4 NPC fasts which is still too much IMO but that's the point of it :D. Weapon power has been upped from 2 very small VDMAs to 2 regular smalls which makes a huge difference in terms of flipper power. Also made the front a bit more cohesive and added some little visual touches on the top too. Should actually be able to fight somewhat now. Also got a sequel to one of my old bots in the works too at the moment...

Yo those are both sweet VB. Love the skinning work on the 4 bar in particular.
Maybe shorten the wheelbase on the 4 bar a little? That should help it turn better I'd think
