7 out of 8 isn't bad for predictions, but why of all the matches did Bite Force have to lose against Chomp. Bite Force may have lost their weapon, but they were actually doing strategic things against Chomp. Chomp got one blow to knock off the chain and just said "screw it let's just flop around like a fish not using its mutated legs and be stylish in front of the judges with our flimsy hammer hurr durr." Yeah, I'm salty about that one. I don't care that Bite Force won the majority of it's fights last season by being a push bot. It used interchangeable weapons effectively and shows strategy. One of the juding criteria that has been around since the first fricking Battlebots tournament.
Anyway, Predictions for the rest of the tournament:
Quarterfinals:
Tombstone vs. Beta (Odds: 6-3) Beta is certainly one tough customer, but I doubt it has enough strength to take down an aggressive bot like Tombstone.
Chomp vs. Yeti (Odds: 7-2) I don't care if Chomp is good or not anymore. I just want to see Chomp torn to tiny little pieces, and Yeti is a good candidate to mop the floor with it.
Bronco vs. Minotaur (Odds: 5-4) I have absolutely no idea how this one is gonna go. Both are bots that look like they can win this one. Both are very experienced and have shown what they are capable of in this tournament.
Bombshell vs. Poison Arrow (Odds 5-4) Again, I have no clue what may happen as Bombshell have prepared a new weapon for each fight (though seeing Robo's replica in the Garry's Mod thread may have spoiled me), so it's up in the air until we see the weapon of Bombshell.
Semifinals: Tombstone vs. Yeti (Odds: 7-2) Those big wheels on Yeti are just asking for a nasty bar spinner to take those things out. (Side note: If Chomps still somehow manages to beat Yeti, it'll probably be an even better show that what Yeti might have to offer).
Minotaur vs. Bombshell (Odds: 8-1) As much as I love Bombshell, I just simply don't see it having a counter for a deadly drum like that. I'm all for surprises, but unlike Bronco, it looks like it might be torn to shreds anyway. (Side note: If Poison Arrow does beat Bombshell, we might have a good looking battle on our hands here with two nasty drums).
Final: Tombstone vs. Minotaur (Odds: 6-3) If you've been keeping up with the track record of Last Rites and Touro Maximus (which was Tombstone and Minotaur respectively, for those unaware), then you have seen Touro kick the hell out of Last Rites and beat it, so I'm betting on Minotaur to take it from here. This might unfortunately be the outcome from the very start of the Round of 32, but eh. Can't really do much from here.

Huh, for a popup that overturns itself, it did a good job all things considered.

Decent, but now that I think about it, I think my bot's speed is going to cost it. This is wrong. There is never a such thing, as "going too fast".
Also, poor Fracture.

I can AI, but not very well (ask RedAce)
Uh, excuse me? But yeah, take away the bot type thing and we're good as it's too limiting and might not work with the chassis you are given. Other than that, I think we're good.

I mean, I'd enter it. Sounds simple enough. It's very good but unfortunately I'm not sure on how you make an SHW lol
There should be a SHW antiballast which lowers your weight by 400 kg and when you remove it once you are done building, it can weigh around the maximum weight. There should be a link to that somewhere.

Feel like I got a bit screwed by AI/Turn rates. Karma I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Honestly, I forgot about that until you brought that up.
To be blunt, I also didn't really notice the steering issues you're bringing up until now. Weird, because the turn and turnspeed is exactly the same as Mystic's bot.

Wow, it's been a year since I started this thing? Where did the time go? Anyway, as I was playing around with some of the bots in this, I noticed that Patriot 3 still caused crashes. I am terribly sorry for not noticing this way back in March, and I have an update that not only fixes this, but also merges the original, and the 1.1 patch together, so you don't have to download two separate files for this. You can download it on the front page of this thread, or you can use this shortcut. I have checked to make sure this does work, but please do report any bugs that I have missed as I was patching this.

hey **** you groose is a great husbando
I hope you're not referring to me. But yeah, it's Groose. The best of husbandos. The full name of the bot is "Loose Grose with a Noose" to be more exact. Might make it way longer for the actual tournament.

Wow it has been a while. Time for Bot dump 2: Ironforge Imagealoo I don't think I've showcased this one yet, surprisingly. Anyway, this was my Ironforge bot for Trios of Terror II. Unlike Barrackpore where it focused purely on defense, Bhut Jolokia is straight up offense. It worked in its favor shockingly enough. I'd say it was the best of the trio. Dishing out pain to even the wedgy bots before getting screwed over by luck. These are my Dynamic Duos Entries. I was half-tempted to reskining Bhut Jolokia and build a lightweight similar to the theme, but I wanted something original for the MW. The MW is kinda bad, but it's kinda powerful. The LW is pretty deadly and can wreck stuff up if you're not careful. Here is my entrant for Waifu/Deathmatch 2... if the tournament was MW. I realized that it was HW once I saw Conraaa's and Thrack's potential entrants, so I thought that maybe I could make a new skin for it and make it a multibot. I scrapped that thought almost immediately when I was testing this thing. It's ass. Like so much ass that two would just not work. Full Body Hammers are cool, but they don't really work in Ironforge. Might reconsider, but I already have a good thought of what would be my replacement, and it's this thing below: Yep, this thing is tall. The wedges aren't spectacular from a box-rush, but taking things slow is where the wedges do pretty well. I'm just gonna bet that the entire setup below will snap from a tryhard popup. I just know that will happen.

Don't ask why
Why not? Anyway, that is sweet. Can it self right easily?

Now I have Mystic's bot. Will get to preparing a match and all that soon if nothing goes wrong. Edit: The match is done. Yes, I know there isn't a result splash at the end like I usually put in, but those are kinda a pain to put in and make, plus it gives you a better reason to actually watch the video. :P Mystic wins 3-0 with 2 KO's and 1 TKO.
Honestly, I was a tad skeptical of that havok in round two and tempted to restart, but seeing as it just simply moved Hidden Message and the fact that Mystic won two matches anyway, I don't think it was all that harmful.

I guess while we are on the topic of discussing arenas, how about you throw the ELBITE Arena into the mix?

Aw dude. How did I not think of that. That would have made the axes in the pack a little more diverse.
Pretty cool overall. Would probably look even better with a proper skin to the chassis, but still not bad.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I have Badger's bot, and it's ready to go. Just waiting on Mystic.

Hopefully you won't change my AI line to something that ruins the bot.
Sorry for being stupid, but what does this reference?
Clone Clash. Badger changed up my AI line for my VS from Omni to VertSpinner. That's all you have to know really. get in the gtm discord family and you can keep up

Let's actually have an Ironforge tournament for once. Other than DD 2, I can't think of many that are around at the moment (That, and I can't see many Stock or DSL bots using that chassis very effectively).
Will enter. This will be interesting. Hopefully you won't change my AI line to something that ruins the bot.

sick. hate the component skins tho. probably missing the joke
You haven't been keeping up with the GTM Discord group. Have ya? Anyway, as I said in that, pretty sweet use of the Trov Glitch and use of the same chassis to make to different designs.

Been about a month, so here's a bot dump. Wheely Tag 2 Entrant. Meant for killing things and is also focused on defense. Pretty slow, but it's alright overall. Clone Clash entrants. The VS kinda sucked due to an AI change from Omni to VertSpinner (thanks Badger) and the hammer had a hard time due to the small and extremely precise smartzone, along with Popup.py beingvery picky, I guess. Scrapheap Challenge 2 Entrants. Nothing too special, but the wedges are alright, so they should be causing some good damage if it gets under anything. Neither can self-right reliably, so that's gonna be a problem. Kinda a fragile hammer/rammer hybrid, but it's good at trapping anything that gets in. Also has a tough time self-righting. Wanted to make an invertible VS after seeing EBN perform so poorly in Clone Clash thanks to the AI, so I'd AI this thing with Drum.py (or whatever modern .py works better) so it would spin upwards on either side. It's really good at flipping itself over, but that makes the armor on it's back, top, and bottom take an equal amount of punishment and probably break less, so I guess that's good. Also, 4/7 of the names are based off Cards Against Humanity cards, so I'm sorry in advance.

They don't retract as well as DDT's, since they can carry three and retract with lightning speed, compared to the Snapper2, where only two razors work better.
And I don't feel like making smaller chassis for 20 kg of thin components compared to a 14 kg part which nearly the same width as the supervolt. Flamethrowers can only spit fire for so long.
