Nightmare styled VS are not good. Especially if put up against flippers.
(Image removed from quote.)

I don't think so.  Besides, all robots have a weakness.

Flipper<Disc<Drum<Flipper<ect.

Woah woah woah.... Hang the **** on....

Someone imported the Twilight model from GMod as a bot-thing for RA2, and even engineered a means of it attacking with electricity?

And you guys didn't vote for it?

Shame.

I mean, aside from the fact you guys STILL get upset over carton horses, it was honestly the best entry. Not because HURRR DURRR MLP EKSDEE- It's the fact it's such a vastly different entry is what it makes it impressive for this sort of thing.
The thing is, its meant to be the BOT of the month, not Statue of the month, as Thrack has said. While the Twilight Sparkle is a total marvel and a complete innovation of RA2, it isn't really a robot in all honesty, but just a chassis in the shape of a pony. If its any conellation to you, I voted that robot.

Apanx actually created the model in objRA2, a tool which allows you to design your own chassis without the game limiting you. You should really check it out. ;)

votey votey votey vooooot

Best Robot:
LW: 3D Pinball Space Cadet (I seriously think it is still tryhard, but I cannot deny its ferocious damage potential. It managed to come third for a reason, and I hope to see the ring spinner appear again, albeit less overloaded on weapons.)
MW: Labrys (This was easily the biggest surprise robot of the competition. Didn't think much of it in the semis even if the turreted axe was cool, but a perfect streak and another runner-up position to RedAce's name made Labrys the best of the MW's.)
HW: Mass Accelerator (I gotta admit, this robot is bloody dangerous, and even without improvements, it managed to succeed well, with a runner-up position.)

Unluckiest Robot:
LW: Tazmaniac (Loved the look and it battled well, but having to lose by about 1000 points against Disco Revo was bad luck. Didn't help that HX540C turned its arse into a twisty pretzel.)
MW: Mechanized Autism (I really think it was finals material with its weapon-breaking offense, but a KO from Corvus really screwed it over. #****YouCorvus)
HW: Arachnida (Whoa, what a story this had. Started by being the CW robot, ended up re-recording as a HW and still ended up on the bottom against DentoPhobia. If Arach was in another heat, it would've gone through.)

Coolest Robot:
LW: T-Bone (A rather unique design that I would certainly love to see do better in another tournament. T-Bone certainly stood out as unique among the sea of HS'es.)
MW: Labrys (I still think Labrys looks awesome. Also did very well, too, hence, being in 2 awards.)
HW: Ript Again!/Fork Flip 2 (I cannot decide on either of Tash's HW's, so I had to put them both together. Looked good, fought good, what more can I say?)

Worst Robot:
LW: Gaming Grandpa (Seriously, **** Gaming Grandpa. I know I can whip the dead and decaying horse that is Lawnmower, but I despise the BS of defensive offense in IRL and it really bloody irritated me when I first saw it - even worse than the original 3DPBSC! Seeing it lose in its group really made everything right in the tournament, to be honest.)
MW: Pokey (Baconus, there's nowhere to hide. It's a 4WD crapbox that wasnt invertible, wasn't protected, couldn't self-right, had a high ground clearance, used 2 storm bursts (for some reason) and was a total havoking bloody mess.)
HW: john the robbut (Can we stop with this meme now? It's no longer funny.)
