chassis seems very nice and compact, you did a good job minimizing chassis space. like superbomb said the armor panels look a bit messy, work on making it look more clean.
Messy? I fail to see how, but It does a bang-up job in combat. I need to build some hammers and more wandering spinners since I'm hosting a personal tournament. (I'm hosting a personal because my public one isn't doing so well at the moment...)

For once, I don't feel like the only member building in stock at this time...

It literally takes 30 seconds to edit an image, but when you don't have 30 seconds to spare, you can't do it.
maybe if you didnt post so often saying you don't have pics youd have more time
I post whenever I'm not playing RA2

A bot that's not a WS. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
I forgot how I did it, but I just invented a glitch that makes 10 mm. Steel as light as 5 mm. Steel.
See isn't that nice. A bot that has no weird design that you think is cool and clever just a simple neat bot. No WS no Drum wheels. I'm glad your listening to advice now.
Personally I think it's not terrible considering you've only just started IRL building. The wedges could be pushed forward and made smaller to properly look like a real bot. Maybe try making the bot as a whole more interesting. Unlike the other Metas IRL is a lot about making bots look fun and stuff or at least that's how I and a few others see it. Experiment with shapes and designs that could be more interesting.
Wandering Spinners are very complicated, so It's difficult to follow advice on those. Other bots, however, Yes. It's very interesting what you can make in DSL, I can tell you that.

Okay. I need to put up a pic of this when I'm finished, but... I'm building a centipede-like robot for my next big Ironforge project. (my first one being the cybug robot)

This is one of those instances that I call "fun with snappers." Did you use EFFE to get the redbirds in the chassis?
my stock builds are always legal. everything seen here is snapper loaded.
good to see you back. love to see internals. been a long time since I played stock. guessing just 1 blue snapper in the back with just a T connector or something?
Not sure if you knew but stock building devolved a lot on the whole unfortunately since the component freedom mod got released.
i didn't bother to share internals because there was not a ton to see, and you pretty much guessed the setup spot on.
i'm not worried about the component-limit mod affecting how stock should be approached/played. anyone can count to seven so keeping things in line shouldn't be that difficult. otherwise i dont see how it affects building unless there is some other benefit to it i am not aware of.
edit: ah the component intersection.
well my quick 2cents: dont use the freedom tool and expect any respect from me unless it is for-fun purposes only. i wont be fooling with it.
I don't build illegally either. Infinite's right. It's like seeing the insides of a generic 36 hs. You already know what it has in it because many bot builders have made this design.

I'm a fan of suggestion three. Being that anyone who looks at the front page can go a see any tournament in sign-ups, without having to scroll through the forums to get to the desired thread, allowing for users to pick-up and join tournaments with ease.
Apart from that. I feel that the wiki isn't really being used that much. With exceptions of users performing minor edits on their user page, and when a certain someone spammed up the wiki more recently. Said wiki is used as much as a broken knife. So, either we could encourage users to make edits and expand upon wiki, updating upon outdated articles such as updating the article about razor tips, or just adding more knowledge on tournaments etc. Alternatively, we could just get rid of it all together since it's not being used by anyone at the moment.
Again, there are people outside of GTM that look at it. RA2 Wiki is a great resource out there. By getting rid of it, you're preventing everyone outside of the community from getting advice from it. And honestly, many of the topics I edited were based on truth.

Another sheer sign of might in a WS... Taking the old 6-mace HS, removing the pink in the black, changing the armor to plastic, and adding 9 maces instead of 6.

I can't seem to get either of the games running in windowed mode in DxWnd. It worked fine in say half a year ago… now it just crashes with the Windows crash dialog showing up sending information about the crash to Microsoft.
So, if anybody here knows or has any ideas of what it might or could be, please do not hesitate to reply!
The server could be gone. That usually causes a game to crash.

Sometimes I don't have time to get good pics, especially if you have to create multiple bots in a short period of time...

are you just making up what wondering spinners are as you go?
it first had 1 drive motor and 1 wheel now your just making a standard bot with standard motor setup but using drums or disks for wheels and calling it a wondering spinner when it clearing isnt designed to bounce off walls and it has controlled movement just that it sucks for traction.
if your defining wondering spinner as something that can bounce off walls then you have just covered every bot ever made that has bad wiring or loses a wheel.
Nope. WS are a lot more effective than they look as I told you numerous times before. I already told you the rules and everything you need to know. Wandering Spinners are basically robots that move around on their own. You just activate the switch- they're off. No more need to even touch your keyboard.

Okay. I see a lot of NOs, but I'm getting plenty of WS from members. This tournament is a-go.
I will be entering with two of my WS...
I just found a bandicam app for taking videos of the fights :))
