I'm inspired by Bildschirm to show my MM2 lineup here.

New bots will come soon

I like Speed Demon V there. Predicting SDV because it's now made to counter HS'es like HexaVortex and RedRum, though that Mech disc on the latter is troubling

Also, the splash text reminds me of the one on OW

So, seeing how Tails/Kix's challenge with Hoppin was added, can my challenge be added because Kix did it after it got DQ'ed

that's some high IQ sh** right there. I hope none of you wanted to use extenderbots xd
Considering what TheRoboteer believes in RA2 building honestly, well.

Anyway, going to send now
Except it was Code Red that asked for it, not me. Plus, most of my extenderbots don't use BFE anyway
Never directed it at any one of you in particular. You sure your chassis doesn't use BFE at all? You make all your extender bots from a botlab 1v1 square?
I was replying to Billy suggesting it was me who banned BFE. And yeah, I'd say around 80% of my extenderbots use the base 1x1 square of the lowest height you can get in the botlab. On occasion I'll BFE it a bit lower so it fits inside a low wedge or to get a few extra KGs of weight, but most of the time I don't
My final post about BFE and CB2 to stop threadjack. But TheRoboteer is kind of a gameplay purist when building though, so he only uses BFE for chassis height and color/material changing honestly. Plus no cb2 except Overkill Motor and Razer Servo in his opinion

Note: It's also directed to Badger tbh

Ok then, will I have to send the AI to the host?
You down for the challenge then? Should I make the thread or do you want to?
Talking about challenge, can I also have one with you?

How did you  get the RADs to position like that on frostbite?

I dont think I need to say why quoting a post from 2008 isnt a good idea.
Let alone from a member who hasn't been on in five years. To answer Redalert's question, probably Component Freedom
It's from 2008, most likely before component freedom that came eight years later. I think it's more likely done with glitch

Not a stock guy, but to add the the spin motor battery drain, there's this:

Not made by me, but very important for DSL-IRL RA2 Parsec tourney. The head of the Roblox robot combat server, Sevalent, decided to start an IRL RA2 Parsec tourney. Since he is too lazy here, I will drop the link instead with authorization from him:

Y'know how I said I built some Stock in my DSL showcase?

(Image removed from quote.)
Cerulean Eclipse! First Stock bot in months. First decently competitive bot, too. Outwedges Seism 13, but not R4. Inspired by the former 2 bots.

Fun fact, the skin is glitched.
Can you show internals? And some more details, like weapon or battery amount

Thank you for the feedback! I will soon post an update on each one
Talking about bots, I think it's maybe a good idea to post tourney bots too, like the one you entered on NW. And as for that shell spinner, I think you can use smaller wheels and use the left over weight from upgrading to upgrade to 6mag, which is recommended for a good spinner on HW

aluminum 3, it is 794 kg (500 without the shell), and it has aluminum armor panels
Actually, seeing back, I thought it's underweight because I only saw the weight on the first pic, not the latter. But still, it is generally recommended to crop your pictures to only your bot and it's weight so we all can see it easily

Ok, and here is Tsunami mk V!  [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]     [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]      [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
The use of panels to for the shell spinner makes it less boring. But first, it's pretty underweight. I think you can either downgrade some things to make it a MW, or maybe rebuild it entirely to make it either a CW or HW. And if you want to make it a CW or HW, you should replace the weapon motor with a 6mag (which is stronger) or dual Perm (which is also stronger, but may cause stability issue if your shell spinner is not built in a way to be stable). It's more powerful than a 4mag. Also, i think you can lost few teeth so it will spin up faster and to make it not weapon spammy

Also, what is the armor for it?

Other Tutorials / Re: How Power Consumption Works
« on: October 18, 2018, 08:21:43 AM »
Very nice work Click.

As for your problem with balancing batteries and motors, i think making a larger sized battery more powerful than its weight it smaller batteries would do the trick (like it is in stock. I mean, it works in stock. Even though small battery packs would last in a 36HS, they are not powerful enough to spin the motors fast enough.)

Why don’t we just have voltages to the batteries ( ants have 6v, battle packs have 12, etc, and piglets, Copals take 6v as well, and if you give a piglet 24v the piglet would not work (it would burn out))
We are limited by what RA2 is capable of doing. RA2 doesn't measure battery output in voltages, and all spin motors are hard coded to have the same power draw as each other, so we cannot change that. Clickbeetle has been working on overvolting, but I don't think it's possible to get RA2 to just "burn out" a motor based on anything except damage from an opponent.
To add to the power draw code statement, yeah. It was a developer's error, and it's exe hardcoded. And only one person knows how to break into the exe so the game can be fundamentally changed (he is not as active now, and didn't make any change though). Basically, like bursts and maybe servos, spin motors were supposed to consume different amount of power, but the aforementioned error meant they all consume the same power

users are already allowed to make contests.
Where is the rule specified? Because I don't see any other contest than BOTM
not sure why there needs to be a rule saying you can post a thread, but there's ever single "new botm" FOTEPX hosted, like 4 AW design contests ianh did, RWRA2 bot design contest, and some others.
Then I now wonder why don't people do new contests other that BOTM right now
