its not worth watching nobody won in this
i mean it is 2 irl bots fighting
IRL is fun, not boring to me. I play this game to get robot combat simulation and make good real life like bots, after all

Okay, first this should be in tournament discussions, and not in personal tournament section. Second, it will be a tough time to gather 16 enteries because stock unrealistic. third i am sure people will test bots against better ai bots like in starcore ai pack 4th, if you know how to ai, then why are you DEMANDING ai lines, instead of making it optional?
first- the less AIing I have to do, the more fighting I can do. second- are you saying stock is not popular anymore?
1st: Pretty sure that even if you AI bots yourself, you can have lots of fights, unless if you don't have much time. 2nd: You think all those showcases in Stock mean people like it. Well, GTM is now in the DSL-IRL era, sorry. Most of the stock users have either left, and the few that do stock are not in much spotlight as most tourneys and players are DSL-IRL nowadays. Plus, I think those stock users also play Standard (either DSL-S or IF-S). Then there's few stock users who like both IRL and Stock, like RedAce for example

More extender-bot practice:

Heavily inspired by Click's Cheez-it Box of Doom, which I have actually downloaded from the old, old Atari forums way back when I was lurking on anything RA2 related. So I got the idea to make the Cheez-It box the base and experiment around it. Barely had enough weight to make it even a HW to begin with, and I originally disliked how it looked in the end. I thought it looked slightly too boxy and goofy, but later on, I kinda grew to it since it is based on a Cheez-it box, which is advertised to be goofy and rather wacky, so I guess I may have unintentionally gotten the vibe... maybe... hopefully... okay probably not.
And yes, the hammers, while slow, do actually go 360 because that's pretty fun. If there's something like a PWS3 and I do happen to have some time for it, then I'll most likely enter this because these seems crazy enough for anyone to drive and anyone who has to drive it later might have a complicated time. At least both sides will have fun right?
That's pretty nice. And I also like the Diesector inspired pickaxes

I downloaded the pack. What do I do to add them to dsl.
You just take the files from the zip or rar into the intended location. If you install AI pack, you have to put it into your AI folder. Be warned however that AI packs tend to overwrite any existing AI on your game, so if you want to keep the old AI, make a copy of the game and then install the new AI pack into the copy

DSL-IRL HW Robot wars 2016 Arena Bo3 RA2CF, BFE, and OBJRA2 allowed DSC's IRL Packs, Badnik Recolors, Geese's NPC fixes, etc, are allowed CB2 components are allowed as long as they are not too abusive (like stronger version of non CB2 components, etc) Hoppin to host.

I wish other people are allowed to make a separate thread for PWS so it will get more attention, we can post more things like opinions and comments on fights there, and I won't have to use this thread as PWS vid dumping ground, as while the host, Sevalent, is here as Sevalent the Fox, he doesn't use GTM. Anyway, the second installment of the first ever DSL-IRL Parsec tourney by Sevalent is here: https://youtube.com/watch?v=Yw70kPcDX1s&

The hell am I doing I should really be preparing for the osu! World Cup not building robots in a game I haven't touched in a year
(Image removed from quote.)
Face Hugger 2, Pixel Tight chassis, rest should be visible.
Side note, which stock AI packs are good these days I'm bored of killing Emergency
So, do you have plans to enter that into Robotic Murder Party 2? Also, for Stock AI packs, not a stock player, but I think something like the Starcore pack maybe, or the Psycolone pack

Does this go in signups now
You have to do a voting where people must answer if they want to enter or not. The amount of yes votes before a tournament can go in signup must be half of the total people that could enter

Just for information, but for CB2 components, you should unban the Overkill Servo too. Also, you should specify the CB2 wheels. Because for example, Storm 2 wheels are just recolored rubber wheels with lighter weight, and thus, cheaty

that hs isn't legal kiddo
arent like none of his bots since he started
i mean tbf i don't think anyone actually plays stock legit without ra2cf
although scrolling up that 36hs isn't legal either, so maybe it wouldn't hurt for people to try to learn stock the legit way
How did you know they are not legal and made with RA2CF?
for the 36hs you can't mount snappers that close together since you won't be able to place two extenders to the hidden aps. as for the lw, an hpz mounted directly to the hidden snapper ap can't intersect the chassis
should had deleted RA2CF, well... i had to make a replacement for 36HS anyway.
An alternative for RA2CF is to just disable all RA2CF modules, except the weight limit removal one, when playing Stock, DSL-S, or Ironforge

Can you format the rules better please. Just see tourneys in the multi entry Signup for example if you don't know

Valkyrie.
Can you please insert your pic attachment? Also, I feel that Valkyrie rep is ugly and inaccurate, especially with the fact that you use DSL. With the disc for example, you could at least use better teeth, and blue disc, that you can get from DSC's IRL Packs

And now for something a little more intricate.
(Image removed from quote.)
Something I usually don't do, but something I came up with an idea for with my family getting an explorer soon in my mind, but anyway, yeah. There are some things I wanted to list in the splash, but I don't think I had room for it in the splash. Such as...
[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
C A R S T E E R I N G
[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
All the hinges possible to open the hood and all the doors. One I did list in the splash, but I could've gotten away with using just one.

It's nearly as big as the sports car in the DSL garage. This is how far we've come folks. Not bad for a Forb Explorer.
Oh yeah, the name is actually Forb Explorer, not Ford Explorer. If you looked at the font, it actually has a 'b' not a 'd' since originally thought this looked like a knock-off Ford when I finished due to the blockiness. I mean, RA2 is limiting, but it's a tad ridiculous at times. I fooled you all and none of you noticed. Although the actual best part is this:
#2 is a bronco not an explorer smh
This was NOT intentional, and I never realized it until he said that. Of course the guy who knows things about cars would call me out on that. I found this kinda funny, but I guess I gotta learn to give artist intention a little more obvious so maybe this is something to take away.
Lastly, I only realized this after this is done, but the weight is technically incorrect. Just add 400 KG to the splash since I forgot about the backdrop when I was making the splash. Whoops.
Very good artbot. Also, surprised that you can make an extenderbot tbh, especially a 3200-ish kg UHW artbot one

I know everyone who built those bots, except for Whacko Lantern, though I soon found out it's 8bean's when he entered it to Deathmatch 3. For opinions, Neon's bot is cool, but not as cool as others, Plerco's bot is good, but again, there are more interesting bots. Pokebro's is pretty cool looking, though it came second in my coolness rating. Fourth's my bot. Perhaps it looks more basic and thus less interesting when compared to others. 8bean's bot, meanwhile, is pretty fitting for the Halloween theme, but unfortunately, the teeth amount, as well as not being the right size as the disc, spoiled it for me. As for Hop's bot, cool SoW inspired bot, but a bit meh. And finally, the one I voted for, Bild's bot. Dual angled VS is very cool, but I also have to admit that I'm pretty biased to it because it's entered to a tourney before, and it's Robot Emperor

Pretty close for Plerco and Gulden, but cngh eventually takes the win. I did hope and feel bad that Gulden lost, considering how Dragie is a UHW, at 5000kg, which is a pretty great accompalishment to make itself. I also voted for Dragie because I thought it's cool. For Plerco's bot, I think that spikestrip spoil the appearance for me, while cngh's, as I said before, I'm more impressed by Gulden's bot Edit: Decided to post this link to cngh's showcase featuring his winning BOTM bot. May get shouted for it, but I'm going to take my chance, to ensure no one will remove the bot name in the wiki, as cngh didn't send the splash for it with name for some reason: https://gametechmods.com/forums/dsl-tc-showcases/a-noob-tries-his-hand-at-dsl/msg754037/#msg754037

As I expected, the winner is RedAce's bot. But the skin is cool though. For my bot, considering it's apparently an inefficient LW gutripper with little aesthetics, well. And as for the last, turns out it's Gulden's. I wonder how he got that weird disc shape on the bot

Shocked that the Ford car replica is actually RedAce's, especially with it being a UHW extenderbot.
As for that Tantrum replica, found out it's Neon's as he posted it on the rep showcase before, and cngh had already posted that Ufo thing. As for my entry, I fully expected that. It's very controversial anyway.

Amazing. And looks like this means I challenge Plerco now then, before whoever wins get challenged by TheRoboteer
