Matilda, kick B.M Boomer's ass! :trollfac #7... WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
if you've ever heard of something known as an english class i highly recommend you take it next time before posting
This isn’t English class- it’s BOTM. Back on topic, please.
What I meant is that his posts need actual clarity next time. Now BOT.
Also to add, what he meant is metaphorical, not literal. And yeah, back to the topic

I like the flipper. You used DSL 2.3, right?
All DSL atm are 2.2. 2.3 isn't finished yet, and progress on it has halted right now. The 2.3 beta you get us more like 2.2 CE but with extra stuffs

I've been reading through Serge's mod to remove a bunch of built-in RA2 limitations in the thread below. There is a discussion about whether or not the game should prevent components from intersecting each other. It is currently on our list of things to implement for RR2, but we haven't done it yet. It looks like a lot of people would rather have the component clipping check disabled, and just leave things up to whoever is running the tournament to make sure that robots are legal.
What do you think? Should RR2 check to make sure you don't have one component intersecting with another component?
https://gametechmods.com/forums/modifications/robot-arena-2-component-freedom-(remove-7-component-limit!)/
PS - Serge, incredible work!
I think it should be like how DSL-IRL RA2 tourneys are run. With the clipping allowed, but as long as it can be done in real life and extenders/plates that intersect can be cut IRL to give slot, allow things that otherwise won't be possible due to game limitation but possible in real life, and of course, no intersecting motors or batteries with another of those

Off, I won a bunch of Awards, HOW? xD Also congrats to the other people who won an award! :3
IIRC, I voted you for best tourney host, Friendliest and Kindest, most enthusiastic, most improved, and best profile, because NW and challenges, your kind behavior, enthusiasm, extreme improvement from tryhard to good IRL builder in a year, and the food fight Ruby Rose avatar

Also, bot rundown and opinion, individually: Solar Storm 3: Looks sturdier than the previous version, with the large wheels and spinner killer wedge. On the other hand, I do think it now looks less sleeker than previous version High Tide: It will look good if KidDelta covered that small gap between the wedge and the top part tbh Binary Star Systems: Cool cluster Tombclone from Neon. I like the back part, as well as use of Backlash disc Nuclear Launch: Looks sleek and cool. Just that U.L.L: I don't think it's that good looking, with the wedging panel on the flipper and the flipper being hidden on the chassis. Polaroid: Feels bland to me tbh, with the color of it Bleed Blue: the front drive part is ugly imo. Tidal Wave: I think Nightraven should cover the little gap between the plow and the chassis. Catalyst: Cool drumbot from Doot. I hope that Tornado drums will work well Banshee 3: Looks a bit bland. Though at least Kaiser added extenders surrounding the chain, plus angled plates to connect that with the chassis. Rooster: Same opinion with Pathfinder, in that I feel the flipper color don't go well with the rest of the bot imo. Angle's Heaven: That's just ugly. That long skirt Flipper is just unrealistic. Darwinian Predator Gen II: My bot. I hope it has enough battery power and last long enough, considering how fragile it is being all alu, as well as being able to wedge. Rest in Dust Mod2: Idk if it has hinged wedge of any form, but it looks fearful tbh as long as it's not dropping to it's side. I think the large disc can punt opponents once it hits. Hyperorbit: I like that CW Hyperspace. Looks cool Starman and Extraterrestrial: Cool cluster tbh. On the other hand, the chassis looks like it's the same as the Lava cluster Romeo and Juliet: Cool wedgebot. I like that Sev bot. I do find those polycarbonate skirts questionable though Craplectric: Looks scary and unique. I think it will rip it's opponents to shreds like what it's HW version did to Flipper Time. Doesn't help it looks like it had more teeth than HW version Apogee: Nice and clean Flipper from TR, as always Legacy: Cool bot from Pokebro, as always. I love the weapon mounting Red Mist: Good Botober bot from F1. I like how it's unique for being a puncher. Halcyon 2: The bit looks cool. I love the flatness of the chassis. Though that teeth amount is questionable, even if it's Matilda teeth. Wacko Lantern: I think it's a good bot. However, the teeth doesn't fit with the disc seamlessly imo. Vespin: Looks like a good drumbot tbh. However, yeah, the teethspam Why Not SK: Looks bland tbh. The wedge also doesn't fit with the bit, with the gap between it and the top part. Christmas Past and Future: It's a V shaped rammer, giving very bit of a DSL-S vibe to me tbh as it resembles that one bot from that dog team. On the other hand, I do like the unique rammer setup. Banshee: What is that rammer? It looks bland to me. Pulse 2: I love the chassis and colorscheme of that bot Lynx 2: Cool drumbot from Olister, like the rest of his feline drumbot series. Dambuster: Another cool TR bot. I hope this one will perform better than in Orc's Wars Overclocked. Royalty 2.5: For some reason, I don't find anything wrong with it or the fork tbh. I think it will perform well. Also going to go off topic a bit to oof at Neon's bite on Evil Toaster. Banisher: Looks simple and clean. Ring! Ring!: The most basic and bland out of all the bots in DM3 that are not cancer (which is Angle's Heaven to me). It's just a simple ringspinner that uses ingame skin. End-it 2: Clean Vanquish clone. My favorite bot from KidDelta. Bad Company: I don't think it looks that bad tbh. I will prefer more if the drum has full teeth though rather than the current setup Code Red have. Duality: Clean HS from Primeval. That is all Edit: Also decided to add heat final and winner prediction Heat A: Solar Storm 3 vs U.L.L. U.L.L wins Heat B: Catalyst vs Angle's Heaven. Angle's Heaven wins unfortunately Heat C: Idk, but I think Hyperorbit for now vs Craplectric. Craplectric wins Heat D: Apogee vs Vespin. Vespin wins Heat E: Christmas Past and Future vs Pulse 2. Pulse 2 wins Heat F: Royalty 2.5 vs Bad Company. Royalty 2.5 wins

Heat Autospies
Heat A
ULL can be a real threat, Nuclear Launch can be a real dark horse of this heat, So many flippers like its robot wars which can be really enjoyable, The champ might actually faced an challenge with all the flippers, my clusters main intention is to abuse the AI and worn them out, I hope it works. High Tide and Polariod are gonna have a hard time by the looks of it Heat B
If catalyst has hinged wedges it can be a real kicker though, as long as I do't run out of batteries I should be ok, Banshee 3 is not to be underestimated. Oh man rhys you really need to start a showcase because you might be the new baconus in terms of bot quality. Bleed and Tidal are poorly built ngl. Heat C
2 clusters? thats interesting, I liked hyperorbit tbh, Crapletic can be a real kicker since from the looks of it has a hinged wedge. Darwinian Pred and RIP are gonna have a hard time, better invest on hinged wedges next time Heat D
Holy now thats a stacked heat, Legacy looking like he gonna pull a backlash when he takes those supports off, Halycon and Vespin can obliterate their opponents with their teeth alone,Wacko looking like witch doctor and Apogee can be an underdog just like most of TR's bots, I feel bad for Red Mist tbh. Its going to get oof'd Heat E
Lmao this Banshee is totally the second worst next to Angles Heaven, stay classy Code red, I would have liked Christmas past and Future if only the npc's aren't exposed and Why not is pretty run of the mill, Sickle should just sent DJ X tbh, The other 3 are my favs, Pulse 2 is compact af, Lynx being one of my favorite oli builds and Dambuster reminds me so much of behemoth I liked it Heat F
I like how Toaster despises anything competitive (Brutus and typhoon teeth) when his bot looks pretty much a standard vert with those tree branch forks, goes to show why you shouldn't trust a sh*tposter /rantover. Ring Ring is sure a ringspinner and Bad company doesn't look to bad but is just messy as . I like Banisher and End-it albeit looking familiar, duality reminds me so much of nightmare strangler but with 2 wheels and a wedge. Gl ya'll
I have upgraded DP Gen II to have hinged mouth wedge

Idk how the heat splash works for showing matchup, but if the bots on the same row mean those bots are in the same qualifier round robin, then I think DP Gen II may be screwed. Idk how my wedge quality will be like, but if I'm unable to flip and control RiD, then I expect being punted and ripped apart quickly. As for Hyperorbit, I went with clamp, so Idk again. I hope it's not a wrong choice for Hyperorbit.

Anyway, going to do a bot rundown Bardiche: Looks a bit basic and generic honestly Looks Like a Wedge: I laughed at that, because tbh found the humor funny. Though it didn't win my vote tbh, and one of them is because I feel it's very bit NSFW for BOTM winner displaying. Bot Lobstah: I also have a feeling of it being a bit basic too despite the theme and design. I also feel the arms are flimsy Last Straw: Didn't win my vote, but cool and unique design. Good Neon build as always. RP1-Parzival: Stock 36HS themed on Ready Player One, so Remedy: Looks a bit like of an extender heavy IRL style bot attempt in IF, but yeah, messy (Idk the name): That's just an extremely awesome Gundam replica. Got my vote (Idk the name too): Didn't get my vote, but Cool Pokebro bot as always. Rat PSD: Good car bot, but didn't win my vote. I think it's because it's a bit basic compared to other custom bots, or the splash The Blanc: Cool Bild bot as always. I like the Hyperdimension Neptunia theme, as well as the very fact the bot is an extenderbot that is reskinned like a chassisbot. Didn't get my vote but it's fine DJX Remix: Compared to other BOTM entries, pretty basic Abbatoir: Cool replica of Abbatoir. I also love how the splash is a parody of superhero comics. It won my other vote Nuurakh 2: The most basic out of all the entries tbh Nitrite-X: Cool Bild bot too. I like the tinyness of it, as well as the appearance.

I made a mediocre custom skin for Dj X remix. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
That skin still looks better than what can be done by the in game paint tab. Keep up the good work

Made a new HW. This time it's an upgrade to my Orc's Wars Overclocked entry, Terminating Cutter II. It's called Terminating Cutter Gen III. It has a bar that is supposed to be reused from the second version, with the bar being same. All aluminium construct, because I think a lot of the weight went because of the bot's size, as well as using a lot of extenders for connection point. Tried to go for a unique chassis design though. Two NPC Fasts for drive, and a Perm 132 for weapon. Three ant batts. Two reskinned panels. It also has an alternate VS config. Weight is around 797 for the main config and 799.1 for the VS config.

Someone in Discord pointed out that End It and Bad Company may have their name pointer swapped in the splash part. Anyway, predicting that V1 may flip itself when coming into contact with Bad Company's wedgelets and get gutripped to death Also, bot rundown and opinion: Atomix Gear: The top part and reskinned teeth are pretty cool. But yeah, that shell is boring and generic Veorra: Awesome bot. I like that CW version of F3, which is also a cool bot. It also looks deadly Executioner: Seen it on Deathmatch 2. The axe is pretty powerful, and it may be able to get some victories. The jumping around is a problem though. Mega Pencilbox: Funny memebot. The hybrid part is just woke. In IRL term though, that disk's support is not enough. Also, is that bot a shuffler? Royality .5: Also already seen it on Deathmatch 2. It's pretty deadly if it's able to get underneath and gutrip opponents. It's reputation as a runner up of said tournament doesn't help either. Rooting for it to perform far. Reptilian: Idk of that weapon support is enough, but it looks like a reptile's head though. Also, good thing Sickle dropped the amount of typhoons to a not spammy number for weapon support. Alpha Warhead: Already seen it on the Discord team match. The lack of wedgelets makes it's wedge questionable. I also worry what may happen if it faced a HS. Nice Bombshell inspired bot though. End-It 3: Nice and clean Vanquish clone. Wanted the skin to look a bit better though. That's all I have to say Bad Company: Idk what to say. Clean drumbot I suppose. It also worries me, because of the wedgelet amount it has. V1: My bot. I hope it will perform well, but it's wedge seems questionable though and it will tip more to it's side than being invertible when front flipping. Gangplank: Clean and simple front hinge. That's all I have to say Repulse: Cool bot from TR, as always. It just looks awesome. Disprezzata 3: I feel that the support is a bit lacking and the weapon seems off with the body. Tossing Feelings: Simple eggbeater. Feels a bit bland to me with the design and color. Rooster: The flipping panel being grey feels kinda ugly, especially with there being an orange on the bot, and no ban on the small components of DSC IRL Pack in this tourney. Collusion: Cool turreted hammer bot. That's all I have to say

Finally upgraded Darwinian Predator Gen II for NW2 and Alloftheman's tourney, which is on signup in Discord now. Less compact than first version and more fragile too, being all alu. The side is also extenderspammy. On the other hand, the bot retains the same drive power, but improved with hinged mouth wedge, plus better aesthetics and panel skin. The bit also have a flipper config, with 30kg of counterweight. All in all, satisfied of how the bot now looks tbh
