in the tounaments i entered where i was free to build anything i wanted (so not counting BTTB in as i was stuck to a certain design) i never entered a bot with a wedge. i wasn't into building those in DSL back then. now i do build them, but i also still build other bot type's that don't use a wedge. even with the upcoming tournament from from jonzu, i'm planning to enter a wedgeless bot while i do have wedged BW bots (looking at Nightbox3 for now).
whichever way you look at it, DSL does require some actual building skill.

would a agree for a part there. i also had a crash with a car. but barely any damage to me or my bicycle. that was some years ago. the bicycle has been scrapped by now and i have a fresh one.

Storm 2 should have clearly won that match.
at the point where Storm 2 rammed Typhoon 2 against the pit release button... well, at that point, you can see something getting from underneath Typhoon 2. after that, it didn't even start spinning again.
"Typhoon 2 can't get up to full spinning speed." JP said. "where did you see it spinning then?" was my thought then.

@scorpion: 4 ants, not 5. just to make sure the weapon will spin at good speed in a full 3 minute fight.
@ounce: can only get then forward just a little bit. will do so, but will it make much of a difference?
