Stock LW Hammers are kinda hard to make work, and I was trying to improve my old Ironbot Jr. Entrant, this thing, which kinda didn't work so well due to how narrow the plows were and they kinda didn't have much reach to do anything. This version kinda takes a lot of inspiration from 09's bot, and I tried a number of things to get the best of everything needed as possible. Messing with the weapon amount, how the plows would be angled, weapon reach, weapon power, really just a lot of things to try and make it tough against pretty much any HS it can come across, which make up 90% of the Stock LW meta. It can do well against some rammers as well, haven't tested it much against anything else though. Gotta be honest, even if it's slightly sloppy, I'm very satisfied with how it turned out. If it traps anything, it can get some nasty hits, and could actually manage to kill in about 2-3 hits (DSA makes it slightly tougher but it still can get some hard hits in) as long as the hammer get knocked off in any way. Might even kinda tinker around with it a little more so I can find a slightly less shaky setup. It's the only thing I actually dislike about it overall.

how are the wedges
Very meh-ish. AGOD kinda screws with 'em so that doesn't help.

looks nice af too , you could probably triple stack the 3 batteries and turn them 90 degrees for a smaller chassis to see if you could get hp zteks for the vs part but i'm not sure if it's worth it
Thanks, and that isn't a bad idea, tho I'm worried if it'll juggle too much or not. That and I'm not sure if I got that much patience anymore. redace the kids tell me stock bots can't be cool so that means youre cheating
You got me. I've always been Venko this whole time. Clearly. Anyway, made a hammer since those are one of my favorite bot types to build: 2 Blacks, there were two things I wanted to do originally: Have actuators attached to wedges, ala Seism 13, but I didn't have weight for it. Plan B was to have a weapon rack on the sides, which it did originally, but it didn't really help since they were way far out there. This thing can potentially OHKO HS if I get a lucky shot, so I'm pretty proud of that notion.

Both bots look nice and clean, though the fact Radioactive Material Evolution has no disc slot for the chassis kinda bugs me.

So I can make things that are actually somewhat original in stock? Nah, that timeline is dead. DSA, 3 Supervolts (Might be overkill but eh), and actually good wedges (or at least good driving skills from me). Tested against RPB and NW, and damn. Once this thing gets under things, it can juggle, gut rip, and shred wedges. I've actually had fun with this one, both building and driving. :D

Also a question: Are you allowed to rebuild a bot completely from scratch with obvious improvements and design changes but keep the name and style of the other one for Deathmatch 3, for example Chomp in seasons 1 and 2 of battlebots ABC
Yeah, that's fine.

Heat C of Deathmatch 2 is now up! Pusher had a pretty aggressive and controlled win in its melee, First Blood just stole it for me by removing Royality's wheel, Primodious had control and did a lot of pushing on First Blood in the semi-final, and Royality dominated in the final.

Heat B of Deathmatch 2 is now up! Lots of judges decisions here. inVasion I felt did the most in it's melee, Shark Attack won by a hair for me in its melee, Solar Storm 2 did a lot of flips on Pyrothere which was pretty dominant, and in the heat final SS2 did a lot of control and aggresssion and threw Thanato everywhere and took it for me.

I'm sure it would be a bloody pain to do that Redbird stack again, not to mention the Nifty+control board (which I still struggle with).
Surprisingly, I managed to make another bot with both stacks again, so it must've not taken that long, haha. I feel I probably coulda trimmed the chassis to maybe squeeze for a second mace or somethin, but I don't trust myself to get that stack again this quickly.

i would definitely spin both weapons the same way though, otherwise you'll be having a harder time getting the surface area for big hits.
I did test that and it was actually worse for me since it lost even more control and can't even really do anything. I think the AGOD at this point might be a result of the vertical snapper setup. So that I'll have to experiment with that to see if i can get a better setup for anything. Also, I think I got an addiction to stock again, if that even means anything, cause I've been screwing around lately, and after some experimenting later... So this is pretty cool, but I was disappointed that I couldn't get DSA without being 3.5 kg overweight, so I took some suggestions, and one was to stack the birds together. So I tested that, and then... "Wait, I actually did it? " I thought. Then I thought I was on to something, so... I made it again, with DSA! :D. No seriously, this is a bot I'm actually kinda proud of since this is my first bot I probably have done with a bird stack so that's pretty nice. Haven't tested this much, but I remember turning actually not being as bad as I feared so I hope it can actually beat Tempus Fugit again.

So stock is still a thing? I feel like a normie trying to use trash/dead memes to sound hip and cool at times with this. DSA, SnapperII mounted, 1 Supervolt. Haven't tested it much, but it goes wildly out of control due to AGOD on the lower spinner rack, so it might just win matches by trolldancing like a spaz. Actually now I got a new name for it. Also fun fact, this uses a old bot's chassis. Like... really, really old: (Image removed from quote.)
Damn I made a crapton of clones back when I was a teenager, I also had a lot more free time and patience as well in Stock, so I guess there is something I miss from my early days.

I am a little disappointed that the skin doesn't really have an X somewhere on the skin to give the aesthetic of the tenth bot in the series. (Maybe an X from the black stripes?) But still, it does look pretty sick. I am impressed that you managed to still use buzzards and manage to make weight effective. Hell, I was gonna even say something about shinies could give weight for something, but then I actually calculated weight and actual usage of free weight and then retracted cause I don't see any possible way. Also, not to get sidetracked too much... This reminds me to run an annihilation tournament in stock if there's enough interest
I would, that actually sounds fun.

Just got a chance to test this, and I'm already getting a lot of use from this can certainly see myself using this for any tournaments in the future. Though, I know it's too early as it's still a prototype, but might I suggest at least Click's AIessentials since most of those have enough variety and ones where I use the most for AI'ing?

i like the design but wouldn't you want more reach?
Thanks, and probably. The problem being is that weight and spinup speed is limited, and it's somewhat stable as is when it lost a few parts of the tribar so I didn't want to risk that.

Made a Tribar thing cause I had ideas and spare time.

Just a question: How did you get the fight footage for the intro?
I just simply did some test recordings of some random matches, then took the best parts and edited to match the timing of the theme song.

At long last, Heat A of Deathmatch 2 is now up! Disclaimer: if there's any matches that abruptly end, it's most likely due to a havok/crash and I took the best result. The first two melees, I felt that Leviathan and Unintentional Tombklone kinda led in aggression and damage in their respective melees.

That just looks so clean overall. Love it. Not a fan of how the clamp's back has the burst way out there unsupported, but weight is a problem, and I can see that.

Well, kinda lucky K4-ET managed to flip Sparrow, I don't think it would've lasted from a Judge's Decision. Good game.
