Very nice job with Noisy Cricket and Limpet. The progress with this is so consistent and I love it because of it. What's left to make?

3 bots now.

Inspired by Click's Elan, just with less power.

Inspired by Nale, another one of Click's bots. Nothing too special 'cept for the snapper2s.

I've finally took the time and actually got a nifty + axle + CB stack, even though many other people have done that stack and many others so I probably shouldn't be bragging. The bot itself is inspired by NFX's Mutant Tricycle.

I do remember that function way back then. I can't remember if that was a different version of the forums or not, but I did like that feature. Props to Trov for working on that function and the exchange work in general.

Oh and welcome back toAst.

>Is this place still active in terms of building?
It's still pretty active.

>Has a compatible free or cheap 3D editor for the GMF files been found? I have found a vector coordinate software for mapping points but something more user friendly would be good.
Not that I'm aware of.

>Have seen some new mods with new components mentioned in forum. Any links welcome, as I cannot see any in downloads section apart from stock and DSL 2.1
Probably the one most mentioning is Ironforge TC, since the new components introduce an entirely new metagame. It's even got its own showcase board and bot exchange section.
Here's the link to it: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=16805.0

Welcome back btw.

Tournament Archives / Re: General Tournament Discussion

I know I'm full of tournament ideas, but this is the last one I had in mind and I would like to know If everyone will be alright with this one.

RA2 Twitch Tournament: (Name WIP, If you could come up with any better names, that would be great. Thanks.)

Okay, I was thinking that I would make a Stock and a DSL-S MW tournament where there's nothing really complicated with this one. I was thinking there would also be 128 max limit and each entrant could send up to 8 bots for both tournaments. I was also thinking that these matches would go live on my (possible) upcoming twitch account with commentary and I wanted to to find a time that everyone can get along with. I was planning to first host a display tournament to have people understand how this works and have a taste of what may come. If I really wanted to, I could also try to have some GTM members commentate with me via Skype, once I'm all set and everyone is fine with that.

I really don't know If you want this to be an actual tournament, but if it does be one, this won't come until at a very later date.

Looks good to me, one question: what is the benefit of using buzzard wheels here? Is it to do with making it invertible, or is it to keep the razors off the ground when it spins?
Probably nothing, but I had some extra weight.

Anyway, Naryar, will multibots be allowed for Mutations 2?

Both have the same chassis, 1 black, DSA, and all that jazz.

Okay, I thought it through for a bit and decided not to limit your choices on building and gave you the option to build either the same bot type or different bot type for Dynamic Duos. If you actually don't me doing this, then I'll switch it back.

Regarding Dynamic Duos.

(Image removed from quote.)

The main gimmic of this is that there people will two weightclasses as their entrants, HW and CW, It'll be a tag team tournament where they will fight as like a hero and sidekick if you will. You can make any kind of duo from your own creativity or from one that represents something in a pair of two.

RULES:
- DSL-S HW & CW
- 16 Entrants
- 2 Bots per entrant (1 HW and 1 CW) is required to enter
- I'm willing to AI if you are not able to, but don't complain what I AI'd your bot (You can't change the AI after the signups close. If you want to AI, make sure you're happy with it.)
- You cannot enter unless your bots are received and accepted
- I will only accept entries via PM
- You cannot try to find any loopholes in the rules

BUILDING RULES:
- Cruiserweight bots (399.1 - 600.0 kg) and Heavyweight bots (600.1 - 800.0 kg)
- You cannot use BFE, AAM, Hax, txt file editing, etc.
- No cheatbot2 parts or custom components at all.
- Bots must have two wheels and show controlled movement
- Each robot must be the same type. (For example, You can't have a Hammer CW and a Hammer/Rammer hybrid HW for your duo)
- Crawlers and Multibots are banned.
- Jokebots, replicas, IRL style bots are not allowed.
- You can update your bot as much as you please until signups end
1)But that's part of the fun! Your rules should be airtight anyway.
2) I'm not sure if you meant "At least 2 wheels here", but when you get into CW+ where robots can actually have more than 2 wheels without sacrificing somewhere else then this seems like it's hurting the HW's a bit.
That's what I meant with the two wheels bit, that parts fixed now. Thanks for pointing that out.

I would happily do a race to win type thing over Skype.
You could, I wouldn't recommend it though. If you do it though, can I see a video with your reactions?

The Finals are now up, congrats to...

As for Grudge matches and Awards, I'm not gonna do those. I'm trying now to get myself used to my school schedule again, so don't expect me to have another tournament for some time, but something else may come later...

Alright, got the Losers Semifinal recorded and it will be up soon. Once it's up, the people who are in the finals can then send their last choices, but I would like them by the end of today as well because we are very close to finishing this tournament. However, the finals are gonna work a little bit differently. Instead of sending one choice, the last two need to send two. One for the normal round, and one just in case if the Winners Bracket winner won.

Edit: The Losers Semifinal is now up. Congrats to our other finalist...
