Since it's only me at university and of course being an anti-social person, I'm not doing much this Halloween apart from staying in my flat cooking dinner, relaxing this evening and wondering about if I was back home doing pumpkin carving. But I'll leave you guys with a classic Nick Cage clip that happens to fit into the theme of Halloween.

I might consider making an entry when I do have the time, or could modify one of my older bots to the standards that TheRoboter wants. It won't be a definitive, but like I said, I'll consider entering.

They all look really good. Though, I don't really understand why you need a wedge for your first MW HS? Personally, I think the wedge could be there for getting robots onto the wedge, so the robot becomes trapped for the HS to damage the opponent without having to be damaged by wedge dependent weapon systems. Otherwise most of the bots are pretty good.

Tournament Archives / Re: Asbestosstar's robot evento uno - Brackets, Videos, Pictures« on: October 22, 2017, 03:17:57 PM »You did well, but did not win. Althoguh your bot could of proboblyh done better if it wood of moved better.;]Before you do start. I've already stated the reasons why Unreal Cerberus didn't move about 2 months ago. But just in case you forgot: Why the bot tips forward all the time is mainly due to how unstable its weapon is. With the main weapons being far out to the front and nothing is at the back to counter balance, the bot loses its balance and causes the bot to tip over to it front, causing it to move around on its own weapon instead of staying balanced and moving forward on its wheels instead. But also what was mention, due to a major bug between your "hack" and DSL 2.2 the bot skirt hinges end up being shifted out of their normal place, cause the bot to have it's wheels lifted of the ground and unable to move properly. So, this was mostly my fault on the design and also with the main idea that your mod was DSL 2.2 with a few extra bits stuck in my head. I failed to understand about the skirts messing up, so it was just a misunderstanding. 290

Can you all stop and just say I'm the winner for building a bot that doesn't even move properly.

I know it's up to you to decide what you want for your tournament and how the viewer views the fights, but you should listen to feedback if you ever want to improve your work on making a better tournament. 292

With the new warning system in place, this will particularly help some more newer members to adjust into the forum and hopefully be treated less like dirt by some older, less-patience members. So, thank you Kill.

Existing Games / Re: J#4Life!« on: October 17, 2017, 11:11:17 AM »Look at the game dude, it gives you the choise!!!!!!!!!!So much for criticism. But look, I know that the game gives you choices, but what I'm saying is that it would be nice to have a few more choices to make as well. Let's say that I maybe that I want to go home instead either going to best buy or smoking weed with my friends. There should be an option for the player to make that decision over the other two. There this allows for the game to expand upon its own plot to allow more possible routes for the player to take. 296

Fine, I'll give you a bit of criticism. From the screenshot showing two choices of going to betterbuy or smoking weed, I personally feel that the player should be able to make a few more choices that could be within the game like you could just go home to play video games or choose a more boring route of doing some studying at a library. That way, you can expanding on the multiple choices an expand into more endings, adding more into the replay value of the game itself like your character could become a computer wiz or something on the lines of that.

Right, time to dust off this thread by posting a new trailer for Series 10 of Robot Wars from the BBC website. As this was just recently uploaded, it'll be some time before someone posts it on youtube for anyone outside the UK:
