I have 0 idea if #5 is an obj chassisbot or complete extenderbot. it would really help if you guys sent some info in your pms with your entrants
I thought it was a custom-skinned extenderbot tbh. Definitely looks like one.
Anyway, I should probably stop showcasing my BOTM entries before the voting opens...
It's a an extenderbot. It just uses many custom skinned components. Plus, Bild doesn't build chassisbots tbh

Opinion Atom Bomb: I like how it is called stock illegal for being a crawler tbh Werewolf: Cool. Aside from the splash, I like the FS/juggler combo

Opinions (No name): Nice meme. I love the words about or, as well as all those extenders on the bread Miner: Cool. I love the skinning on it to get the Minecraft texture. Got my vote (No name): Idk what that one is supposed to be. If it's a rep, then maybe it's decent for an IF rep, but I still don't know what bot is replicated

They all look absolutely fantastic. It's a shame that the geometry constraints in RA2 are so limited in terms of chassis design that external software is required for something more than a box or a "circle". Torque of the Devil and RoboPig are both brilliant.
thanks well, now that i notice, i think i rotated Torque's eyes too much, but it can be fixed easily. Robopig wasn't hard to do, but a big problem was placing the eyes in a way that it looked similar to the original. (Image removed from quote.) the previous version had more distant eyes, and honestly it looked bad. also it lacks ears because there's also a polygon limit for OBJtoRA2 chassis, which is 86 faces, and Robopig chassis was 80 faces, with ears it reached 94. so i need to do those in RA2, same for the tail.
anyway, if there's a result i'm proud of it's Pathetica.
For OBJ chassis, honestly, the only problem of over 86 faces cause is crashing the game when the chassis starts to spark in battle

DSL-IRL HW Robogames Arena Bo5 RA2CF, BFE, and OBJRA2 allowed DSC's IRL Packs, Badnik Recolors, Geese's NPC fixes, etc, are allowed CB2 components are allowed as long as they are not too abusive (like stronger version of non CB2 components, etc) Bildschirm to host

Awesome. The race car aesthetics look very good. I particularly like how you did the skin, the front of the bot, and the hammer

Oh your that guy from Mike's Server. Anyway, Welcome to GTM! Hold the Whyachese- Making a Whyachi Clone as your first bot, huh? Looks like those Wedges could use work, weapon bar a bit high for some, large wheels, eh. GDM (Generic Drum Machine)- Look decent, lacks weapon support RC Hammer - Trolley rage + inverted wheel set up + tacky hammer design = Pizza Cutter - Mechavore's are really good, but they're Illegal, plus lacks weapon supports. Merry Go Pound - Idk my certain opinion with it, but looks, ok. Boop And Scoot - I recommend having a dustpan wedge to make it more effective, but otherwise looks Good. Chicken Biscuit - Looks the best out of all, weapon support is, interesting but effective, I guess. Tender Kisses - Weird tooth design, but looks good. Plonker - oof a lot of empty space, and I think Gothic axes aren't IRL (clarification needed)
Both Gothic axe and Mechavore disc are legal, but Mechavore disc is often banned in tourneys due to how overpowered they are. As for Gothic axe, they are definitely legal, including for use as spinning weapon Also, for your bots: Hold the Whyachese: Aside from the wedge as covered before, I think it also has too much battery. I think you only need two longs and one ant to power five spin motors GDM: Cool idea for a drum honestly. But yeah, aside from weapon support issue, the weapon also clips with the motor, and you can replace those two longs with two reds. You can also use the extra weight leftover to do the support. RC Hammer: Pretty cool idea honestly. Idk if that amount of battery is too much for a single JX burst, or what those magsnappers are for, as well as the wedge edges on the side, but you can move the hinged wedge edge on the front inward and use a longer wedge edge, so it's perfectly flush with the chassis and the hinge is not exposed Pizza Cutter: You will need weapon support for this one. Also, two full sized Mechavore discs are considered weapon spammy and too overpowered. Merry Go Pound: I love the idea behind it, as well as the shape of the shell. Pretty unique for a shell spinner honestly. For battery, I think three reds are enough since it uses five spin motors Boop and Scoot: Cool idea. I like how you made the poking arms more connected now. However, it can do with some covering and cleaning up, to close any gaps as well as protect that burst motor. Chicken Biscuit: Pretty cool extenderbot VS from a newcomer. I like the weapon support especially. Tender Kisses: Looks decent a the very least. The only thing problematic with it is that it's pretty weapon spammy. I suggest using two large typhoons for the bottom part of shell. Plonker: Good HS. For my suggestion, I think you can try to find something to save weight from, so you can make both the bar thicker and look more durable, as well as cover up the internals, as I saw the sides don't have much covering

Awesome. Also what is the weapon on the front? Like on the area where the slot is
And guessing that the hexagonal thing is for the bot's chassis skin

And can i change the graphic 3d model? It woudnt change anything in fights since i'm not touching the collision model
Guessing this is like the case in Robogames 2 with the Mangnhild Hammer. Anyway, sent my entries for this. Reentering Seed Killer Gen II, Darwinian Predator Gen II, and Ring of Destruction Gen II

I thought it would fight Plerco's VS instead of Kix's shell spinner. Anyway, happy that I won, and surprised that the spikeball happened later than I thought

Tbh, I've been here for such a short amount of time, that I can't really give a solid answer. Resetti is currently making Series 6 of Resetti's wars, TommyProductionsInc is, Idk, and others might be not playing RA2 anymore or not into making Replicas. I feel like people got into Replica making using RA2 because of Barangoat. This was my analysis, and it might be an official answer if corrected for a few things. Then again, I'm just a regular player. Also another reason that Replica making has slow down is that many robots have been recreated to death (Cough cough HUGE), or they are now more into Competitive play.
understood, also it's not only that some bots have been recreated to death (huge?), also some bots are too bad to be useful in combat. i mean, i'm recreating mammoth, which was a really bad walkerbot. so you ask yourself "why doing such bad robot with no combat usefulness". and while some do them, some just don't care and prefer to do personal combat bots for competitive play. i mean who would care to recreate such bot for combat? https://robotwars.fandom.com/wiki/Mammoth_(Series_3)
also, who was barangoat? an user?

also, i'm using dsl 2.3 for this bot. is dsl 2.3 the famous "dsl 3 beta" or it's another version? also, what are the major differences between 2 and 3?
DSL3 beta is different from 2.3 Also, 2.3 isn't finished yet and sadly died. It's supposed to be a new version with some new features and components, but as I said, most of these are not finished
