I really want this to happen, solely for the drama over invite spots
See, no one's gonna know till it's SBV
How that's going to curb the "REEEEEEE"ing?
More delay

Hello all.
Some updates to some changes in regards to this.
I plan to reduce the number of invite spots down to 15 and open up 1 open qualifier spot to those interested.
To prevent people from entering low effort robots, I'll be running the clause of being able to deny robots for low quality. I'll be specifically looking for build techniques than looking at build styles and how they compare with your other builds, an example pf what im looking for is Sickle robotics with Voodoo and Why not SK. This kinda stuff of genuine effort to improve skills and push your boundaries is what I want to see.
Any questions, please post here or direct message me on GTM or discord
I've got no serious responses to this. I'm under the assumption that people aren't wanting this. If you do be vocal please

I have noticed the general trend is towards ultra IRL builds, and I really dig that because they look so cool. I'll have a cheeky look at what you got there to see what styles of the meta I can apply to future builds.
With this one though to be honest, the aim was to build a bot to destroy stuff, and to do a full build in 20 minutes for a YT video. While I like the concept of the spinning axes and outside Perm, the execution shows that it was rushed.
Cheers for heads up about the style changes.
I actually watched your video building this. You appear to not have things like component freedom, etc. I'd recommend you pick up DSL2.2CE (Complete Edition). It contains, not only component freedom, but DSC's packs, among some other small tweaks. As for the robot itself, it lacks a lot of what the current scene's standards are (motor protection/support, proper supports, etc. But I'm sure you're aware of this). Any further and I'm just re-iterating what Robo said lmao. You can look at other people's showcases for an idea of what the current stuff is going on right now, along with the tournament section. There's some rad stuff out there!

Here's a hammer because I've pretty much exclusively been building verts and flippers lately. Really happy with the front end of it, but the beta motor forces me to make the bot a lot taller than I really want it to be, so it doesn't look as good as I think it could. Maybe I'll just swap the hammer to a vert instead
In terms of specs, the front is pretty much all steel, rest is Alu as usual. Drive is 2 TWMR2s. Weighs like 789kg.

Have you considered an OK motor? Or is that a toxic CB2 component for ya?

Would I be in rights to create a new account? Or at least be able to change the username of the old one (providing I can even get into the old one).
Can do, lemme know if you can get access to it. If not I'll try to provide either some details or reset the associated details

Not sure if this is still moderated, but its worth a shot.
I used to post on this forum quite a few years ago, and am now very aware of how much of a literal 16 year old I was. I am pretty sure I wasn't a popular or respectable member due to how... autistic (and not even in a meme way, I had no idea back then) I was. I guess I am just more aware of it now I am in my mid 20s.
I have attempted to come back once before half a decade ago, but that also went really badly and possibly ruined any chances I had of returning in the future. I have since been lurking for about a month after getting myself back into robot combat in general.
It would be nice to start afresh with a new account, detached the negative stigma of the old account and username, but also that would violate a fair few of GTM's rules.
Sup holmes, mind if I get an account name. Just to check what it be n all?
