Looks pretty cool. S_M's 1WD Concept in RA2 has come to life.

Those look great. Maybe I can try my hands on helping with this pack. And actually put the rebuilds to practical use unlike 4 years ago.

Contests / Re: Vote BOTM Feb 2015
« on: January 30, 2015, 12:02:07 PM »
Well, might as well summarize my thoughts.

#1: I think I can make out what the text is trying to say, but If I have to squint, probably not a good splash then.
#2: It's just playzooki's first bot. moving on now.
#3: Pretty boring. Badnik probably built it.
#4: One of the better bots here. Splash is lackluster though. Not sure who built it.
#5: Craaig's bot as a stock LW. Not too bad. I believe it's Mr. AS because of the extenders.
#6: Hell no Kurt. (I think it's him) It's gonna win though, so I'll just jump out the window right now.
#7: It's alright. Definitely better than some of the other bots I'm seeing. I feel that splash style is awfully familiar.
#8: For a hybrid, It's decent. Probably Maka is the builder. Also Hentai for BOTM? You got another thing coming.

No idea who to really vote for, considering what we have here.

Wait, is it two for everyone, or two for those already entered?
Two bots max for anyone willing to enter.

If Craaig will let me do this, I can put up my secondary entry on the first page.

I would've preferred you put it up before signups opened if secondary signups were planned, but go for it.
Yeah, kind of a dumb move on my part, but thanks anyway.

So with that, all bots I've gotten are now AI'd, and with that, we're about halfway there.

Both Tibsy's bot and Avalanche's second bot are accepted.

Well, I wanted to wait a bit longer, but looking at my calendar, I think I might as well do this now.

Secondary Signups are now open!

This means you now can enter up to two robots now. If Craaig will let me do this, I can put up my secondary entry on the first page.

Got Tibsy's bot now. Gonna take a look at it later.

Agreeing with the others. Lower it to at least two max. The 4 bot rule might work in a tournament without a limit or a really high limit, (i.e, Mr AS's Maximum Overkill) but not for something that requires 24 bots.

I like the looks of it, but the hex plate looks kinda strange to me.

Something tells me you're a fan of Markiplier.

Anyway, it's original. I'll give you that. I also see you're trying to make a Crawler (or VS thing?) innovative with the ramplates do the moving. With that in mind, try to attach as many weapons as possible and ditch the ramplates because they can only last for so long along with the wheels since the HPZs are doing the work. Also, Servo steering is kinda pointless since you can wire the HPZs to spin left and right, so there's no real point in having that slow of turning.

Also, try to build to the maximum weight limit for a HW because about 200 kgs can be used for so much more. (or you can just call it a Cruiserweight.)

No clue who BadSeed is.
BadSeed used to do replicas back in the day, I downloaded a few when the original robot exchange was still up. I think I have few (Diotoir and Wheely Big Cheese to be exact).
Yeah that sounds right. I think it was some earlier version of Gametechmods with the bot exchange having previews for the bot based on the in-game screenshot.

How about an UHW Multibot hybrid?

Also Tommy, this hasn't gone into signups yet, so you can't enter that just yet.

Another BW:

Alu 1, 2 ants, and the works.

This thing loves to shiver and explode from havok if it turns too fast. I might have to remove the axles and make a static ramming rack. Not exactly pleased about that.

Now time for an actual serious bot for Badnik's tourney:

174.2, Steel 1, NPC Norms, 2 ants.

For some reason this thing doesn't feel like triniting, so this could be a bye for anyone who faces it.
