I suppose that's pretty accurate. Prices are on Par down in australia.. it comes to preference
BlueRay players themselves are more expensive then PS3's too :P
Also I just found out the list of discarded titles that were nearly used for the next Ratchet and Clank game "All 4 One"
4play, Multiple Organisms, Fiends with Benefits and Bros b4 Foes
:O they so should have used one of them instead.. R&C always had lolsy titles..
Seen some of the game. Really one I want to try.

It's mainly a hardware and software difference. Though you won't notice that much difference with power of hardware, it's the speed of the PS3 that does make a great difference.
Also, you can say that about the price, but also keep in mind that the PS3 has some more expensive stuff in there. The processor is one that does something to the price, but especially the Blu-ray player in there. Decent Blu-ray players don't come in cheap.
And Scorp, that really is surprising. What universe did it come from?
And I have to admit that I don't care much about my Wii these days. I prefer my PS3 here... also because I don't have to go downstairs to use it, it's just here next to my HD screen.

To bad the Xbox is a pretty worthless console that has already had too much flaws. Plus it's from Microsoft, which just means that there will be problems.
Not saying the PS3 is perfect, but it is way better... On somewhat all parts.
+that is has games like R&C, LBP, Wipeout, Motorstorm (which I still want), Resistance: Fall of Man (awesome game) and on Portal 2, cross platform gaming and chatting using Steam.
What flaws?
Flaws I know;
Expensive online
RROD (Fixed)
Xbox has more exclusives as well.
Overheating (Remember seeing someone preparing a steak on that thing. Now that's something you can't do with the PS3... Or the Wii.) Restrictive software (Also the reason why the Xbox did not get Steam. It just wasn't possible because of the software) What you already know, you need to PAY for online service. What the hell. Nintendo and Sony keep that FREE because it's supposed to be free. As for exclusives... Most of them have already been brought to PC and some also to the PS3. Plus that I am generally not a fan of things being made exclusive for just one or two devices. Also, I really hope you are NOT going to count Total Miner as an Xbox exclusive as it is a clear rip-off of Minecraft. Really something you can't be proud of.

Last time I played it was when it was P2P.
When I saw it as F2P at my friends place. ... UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT. Even if I get a paid account now, I'll still only have half of everything that I used to have. Seriously, screw Atari for ruining this game. >:[

Its funny, aside from Secret Agent Clank.. #1 is the only PS2 R&C I have never played :P
I didnt like #2 for the lack of Lock Strafe.. my finger was getting sore from holding down the Strafe button constantly so I never finished it :P ..
I figured #1 would lack that feature also..
I never play with the strafing locked. I always rather have it like in 2. 1 doesn't have strafing at all, as far as I remember.

I think I will have enough racing games to last me a bit :P
I own R&C 2, 3, Gladiator/ Deadlocked and Size Matters but I heard mixed reviews for the PS3 ones.. but I cant imagine they would be worse then the PS2 counterparts..(which are all really good)
The PS2 ones were awesome and that hasn't changed on the PS3. Reviews done always tend to be that reliable. Rachet and Clank are awesome. Too bad I has no PS3.
Joe, if you're into racing games then Wipeout HD Fury or whatever it's called is good. My older bro plays it.
I've played that game so damn much! And just racing with some friends is really great fun. You really should get a PS3.

I only have Quest for Booty and Crack In Time of the PS3 R&C games. But I like them a lot. Then again, I've always loved these games. But I do suggest getting Wipeout HD Fury if you want some extreme high speed racing.
