Arcane, you are a FREAKING GOD!!! How much time does it take you to build them? The best I've done is this: [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
For Arcane is God part, he seems to be just really great at RA2 and RR2. Check his RA2 showcase to see more of his skills: 8 pages. But still: https://gametechmods.com/forums/dsl-tc-showcases/arcane-does-dsl-2-2-irl-showcase/That Monsoon replica looks good though

Cool end to the series. I like how the last fight is a main event featuring my bot, and that I won. It's also pretty funny to watch too

Cool Anyway, my opinions: ArcticStorm: The flippers look weird with how it bend at the burst axle. However, the rest of the bot looks clean, and I like the wedgelets on particular Chemical Corrosion: Decent Tombclone. I like the tracks, as well as the polycarbonate window for the motor. I also like the weapon support Crashing Wave: I like the shape of the cutting blades, as well as how the support is done. That decorative plate on the tracks are also neat Fabulous Scorpion: Clean hammer. I hope it does well like in Mech Madness 2 Helichopper: Clean overhead. The shape is also cool I suppose. Only problem is making the typhoon teeth more integrated with the bar rather than just slapping them on the tips IceBreaker: Clean hammer. I like the chassis shape again, as well as the use of the colored drum as an axle for the hammer. I also like the hammer handle Jumping Poison Frog: Looks clean. I like the big wedge, as well as the track on it Poison Frog 2 Evo: Also clean. I like the drum on it with the colored teeth, as well as big wedge and track like previous bot

Dan. I feel I will miss out on this as I haven't even work on any single bot specifically for this yet

That level of detail is absurd, I seriously don't know how you're so good at this
Well, he's also great at building in RA2 if you see his showcase, so I think his RA2 skill also gets utilized on RR2

Made a new CW named Nature's Defender. OBJ chassis with Alu5 armor. Flipping arm is powered by two regular VDMA's and made of aluminium entirely. Drive is two TWM3R2 drives with Buster wheels. Three longs and two ants for power. Titanium front plate. 599.9 in weight. Only gripe is the chassis not being centered, but way forward, the front plate not fitting perfectly, and the bot being unable to self right due to the flipping arc from fake pistons

Tbh, looks a bit like what a bot could be on the early days of robot combat imo
Though weapon spam by teeth won't be effective by the full version basically

So, after finishing my National Test and editing RGS2, I can say that it will start again. Today's episode will be Antweight Winner's Bracket 2, featuring 16 robots and 8 fights Judges Decisions and Notes (Spoilers):None. However, Steel Chicken 2 got counted out for losing a wheel, as well as not showing controlled movement.
Also, for the ep, sorry for the editing quality, but honestly, still trying to get hang of editing after not doing it for few months, as well as the editing itself being hectic. Next episodes will have increased quality I promise. Opinions (spoiler): Micro Mermaid 2 vs Tiny Crab: Ended quickly. Tiny Crab stood no chance unfortunately against the overhead champ Killing Intent vs Edgy The Wedgy: Another fight where the spinner killer non overhead was unable to stood up against the overhead. Shame that Edgy The Wendy didn't survive imo John 2 vs Haemo: Surprised that Haemo was able to destroy John 2 like that. Expecting John 2 to win as it's a bar overhead, but the saw of Haemo had enough HP and damage to deweapon John 2 Coal Bit vs Shadow: Coal Bit was brutal here. The 2/3 was boring as it was mostly a pushing match. However, Coal Bit was soon able to reach other parts of Shadow, and ripped them, causing Shadow to get stuck on it's own debris Electrocute vs Snippet: Another match where the spinner killer failed against the overhead. Even more shame for Snippet, as it dominated Electrocute that much and may be able to survive to a JD even with a chassis damage like that. Shame it ran out of battery The Ant Is Nigh vs Steel Chicken 2: The durability and damage of the saw surprised me again. I thought Steel Chicken 2 would be able to win as it was a VS, but the ring spinner destabilized it completely and ripped a wheel off W I D E P H I D vs Chariot Of Fire: Another match where the spinner killer lost to the overhead. W I D E P H I D havoked in the end, but considering the state of damage it suffered when it havoked, it had no effect and the bot would be counted out IRL anyway Dwayne 2.5 vs Design In Malice: Another match where the spinner killer lost to the overhead

Sup fellas.
Looking to make an AI pack in the style of LDAI.
This'll require users to send. 1 LW 1 MW 1 HW 3 Robots of any weightclass 1 Team Icon at a 1:1 Ratio Team Name Any AI they want to send over
Who's interested?
"LDAI?"
enlighten me to what ldai is
Basically, it's originally Badnik's AI pack of DSL-IRL bots, where users can send in their own team for the pack.
Also, it's short for Live Design AI

Interesting idea. I think I'll make different weightclass versions of OverChopper

Made an AW as a part of a LW cluster. It's named Antbar Gen II, and meant to be an upgrade to my Orc's Wars Overclocked entry, Antbar. The main change is swapping from an angled overhead bar to a vertical bar. The extender are all alu, drive are two astroflights, weapon motor is one flatmotor, and battery is one intercooled. Armor is Pl3, while the weight is 124.0kg

Memes aside, I do think noobs like Code Red and superbomb dogpiling on other noobs as soon as they slip up or do something weird is something that's worth addressing.
Is Superbomb a noob? I mean, he's pretty decent at DSL-IRL now (though he only showcased in the OW Discord)

Pssst, Kix, we need to team up against F3, then we take on B80 and go through, wait do 2 people or 1 person go through? 2 bots go through.
Got the answer I need too With that, can do predictions: Hyperspace and HammerStrike Kirin 2 and Death Is Drumming III Brontothere and Flickin Boogs Eyes On Me and Pocari F3 and M.A.D Bocuma III and Astro-nomical Takeoff Crusadetron and X-Drake (Idk about X-Drake, but taking a guess it's a spinner of some kind, plus feeling that Jilted Lover's scoop flipper and Sahara's steepness will make it difficult for them) Slapshot and Babaulti 4

Shame that some newbies miss out on this event and have to wait several months for OW4. Anyway, good luck on the participants who managed to get in, and wish the best for them. Will watch them from the sidelines as I decided to not enter to allow other people to join

Cool. I like the weapon support, as well as the parts on the front and back. The frontal part also somewhat reminds me of Terror Wheel 2

Philippa left.
DSL 2.3 died
About Philippa, she's still in the Combat Robotics discord though. Just lost all interest in RA2 probably because DSL-S died then Also for 2.3, guessing people really don't want it, and they unfortunately got the opportunity to abandon it once you left back then, which was a shame imo

What the hell's gone on since I left 6 months ago?
There's a lot. But to list which I recall: - Some users, like Freeziez, Philippa, etc left. Kill also left and retired. - The administration got replaced by Hoppin and 09 in response to Kill's retirement - This led to a discussion about GTM, leading to some changes. Like the tournament section being redone. 09 also decided to implement the new rep system - Some new users - RR2 is becoming a thing now, despite still being alpha - DSL 2.3 died, with the server for it degenerating to memehole and being deleted in the end - Talking about degeneration, the GTM Discord also degenerated into a memefest and have channels deleted, though it's not entirely erased yet. The OW Discord also takes activity from there tbh - GTM now has a certain new user named Redalert, who is not a good user
