Fairy Tail is great. But yeah, start from the beginning.
I did not expect you of all people to be a Fairy Tail fan.
To be honest I just read the manga. The only anime I actually watch is One Piece.
I see. I'm not much of a reading person, so for me anime is good. Though I think I'll generally be okay with manga.

I do remembering seeing an anime on Crunchyroll called Fairytale. Still need to start watching. Know Cruchyroll doesn't actually do any kiddy stuff, this might be interesting to watch.
