If you want to line things up, before you export a skin you can mark points on each side with decals.
Huh, I haven't thought of that, especially since I've done a very similar style for the slot decals.

Also, cheers for your positive comments guys.

Still working with Paint.net, and still trying to improve. With this.

I know the flag lines aren't lined up, but I realized while skinning it, I made the chassis with uneven slopes and harder for me to make it lined up perfectly, and I don't feel like rebuilding and skinning this all over again to fix that.

I apologize if I have offended any Norwegians at all.

For all these worries about the game being coded like RA2, just remember: We haven't seen ANY screenshots and/or footage from the game yet. I apologize for sounding like a jerk, but let's just calm down for a bit.

I believe I had an AW rammer thing and a Crawler as my first two bots. Whoever is the Secret Santa of gets my bots, you'll probably have a good chance at winning.

also stacking blacks is just a pain and half the reason why i don't play stock
If you give yourself more chassis space, you'll have an easier time.

Oh yeah, the original question. Well, it has been said already. The physics of RA2 are so jacked up that stacking is like a normal thing for the game to go through.

So, any interest for Not Quite Chinese Whisper Replica Wars?
Are you making a combination for it? Go right ahead.

That bot looks great. If you want some ways to use weight, you could do what ty4er said and also add a couple lexan armor pieces on the sides, front, and back if you still have weight.

Uhh... anyone out there that wants to enter?
I am seriously trying to work on my new tournament entries without resorting to Hurricane and Twister again. Inspiration to actually make something cool is just dead at the moment. In fact, if I don't send within the deadline, just use them and you got entries.

What program are you using, btw?
I used MS paint my bots up to this point. But now, I have gotten Paint.net and it feels really goooood. Seriously, I cannot believe I've been missing out on this for so long. I'm not really used to some mechanics just yet, even with my Photoshop skills, so I'm still learning. I started off with this new bot, which unfortunately, isn't very original.

I took a few notes from looking at other people's showcases with HD skins to see what they did and what I can do "differently" (massive air quotes) while making it work.

I think Flamethrowers were used for a long time though.

Just asking ya, but can I have a pic of the arena and a DL to it. Please and thank you.
In this thread. Look in the first post.

You can also find it inside CCAI 1.2. Can't really give a direct link on mobile, so you'll have to find the rest on your own at this time. Sorry. I can't reveal the new skin yet. It still needs a bit of work.

Edit: Changed the broken image.

Cool. Never thought of that concept. Kinda reminds me of Badnik's omniwheel ARC bot or whatever it was.
