Discussion / Re: Commentator mod?

Actually, there was a bunch of files inside the announcer folder which were unused and they probably were going play along with some of the hazards hitting you and/or your opponent whenever necessary. Some I can remember from the top of my head were "Bot pancakes anyone?" and "I should've brought marshmallows to this cookout!" They probably would've played whenever you got attacked from the Hammer in the Half-Circle Arena/Octagon's Hammers and the Flame Grills in the Bridge of Doom/Tabletop respectively. In fact, some of these sound clips were edited in and used in the .py's for some of the arenas in DSL 2.1, but they were only the Electric hazards. I guess this isn't what you're looking for because it requires manual editing inside the .py's, but I think it's the closest thing you may get to a Commentator Mod pack.

*Not quite sure on any of this.*

I wish more builders lived near me so we could have a viewing party!
Skype live stream yo.
Yeah, I'd be up for that.
Same. When will you guys call?
I'd like to join too, but because I don't have a damn headset, I can't. :frown:

You guys give me aids. This is the most retarded  "debate" I've ever read.
Thank you.
I also agree.

Also, Holy carp. The first episode is just two days away. I can't wait another second.

Plus it will have like no torque so I don't think it will drive very fast.

And that 1wd rammer is glorious.

Seconded. He's way too old to not be.
Thirded, but I think he should keep the "Spiderweight" name

Urjak! Nice to see you again. The bot itself doesn't look so bad from my view. The batteries make it look like it's underpowered since all batteries don't share the same output like in DSL from what I've heard. Other than that, It looks like you're doing just fine getting the swing of things.

Whoa. I'm now starting to question how I got third place in Best IRL builder from the GTM Awards of 2014. This guy makes really great stuff, like that bot.

This album is a step up compared to the last two you released, it's got real instruments, better sounds overall, but it's still pretty repetitive with the notes being put in one place without much variety in mixing. Also, there are some moments where the music doesn't clash well and kinda hurts my ears as a result. But this isn't bad. You're getting better.

Rating: 7.0

There's nothing wrong with it in terms of legality, so it's just fine unless you want to make changes.

A Supervolt is a bit extraneous in this case. Two pinks just fine for bots with two motors, then again, that's got a good amount of chassis HP, so that might also help.

Yeah that's a Ironforge HW. Also, I think batteries work like they would be inside DSL with the ant batteries and such. Don't quote me on that, I could be very wrong.

Oh yeah. The bot. Looks pretty solid. I love how you made numbers out of the Beater Walls.

there is one question i have tho, it may be quite stupid, but since i never participated in any of these, how are we going to know which bots we'll have to rebuild, will it be posted on the thread itself, sent by PM, just asking this for clarification
If I remember correctly, He posts here with the list and you check this thread and hope to God you got something good.

Edit: Do'h! Still slow.
