Possibly the worst (most meme) ruleset I've seen over the past 12 months 😂

The standard tournament season ruleset was created for a reason, you know. Consider using it.
I'm trying to change the rules on the first page but gtm keeps screwing up my text
Ok changed, still no multibots allowed that has not changed

What if multiple people from the same country want to enter?
Please read the first post again

I'll dumb it down though, there will be a knockout bracket for every different country. The winners go through to the main knockout bracket

Can’t some of those people help represent other countries? Example: I have Israeli dissent, so I could maybe represent Israel.
Hadn't though of this, if you wanted to then yeah

Good thing noone is from croatia :muscle but infact depression as its a sh**hole country:

FR let people choose what they can
If you're the only one entering from Croatia then no need for a qualifier
I am letting people choose

Obviously you can only represent the country you're from
Please post productive comments

(Bad logo ik)

Can't remember when the last World Cup was, if there ever has been one

So I plan to make a tournament where GTM members send in their robots in honour of the country they come from.

How tournament will work:
A knockout bracket for each country that has a member with an entry
The winners of knockouts go through to another knockout bracket
Up to 5 havoc restarts, robot will be disqualified after 5
Reskinned RW2016 Arena OR Reskinned Trauma Pit (Unless I can make a custom arena OR someone wants to make one for this)

Build Rules are as follows:
DSL 2.2 IRL Edition (Download here: https://gametechmods.com/forums/downloads/?sa=view;down=495)
IRL Heavyweight (800kg)
OBJ, BFE and CF are allowed
Skinned components are allowed as long as they are separated (do not overwrite the original)
No clusterbots

You AI unless you can't and then I will for you

Entry details:
No limit on entry spots
]
One entry per member
I will be entering (sorry)

Any tips or advice that would help the tournament would be much appreciated

its literally the same principles across all cad programs

all that matters is knowledge on gmfs/pys

and you're still going to need more than just sketchup since iirc it can't triangulate/uv map on its own
I've seen videos that you need to import sketchup models into blender and triangulate them which isnt a problem, I find Blender hard to create things in at the minute so I'm using sketchup to make the arena models

Tried it
I'm going to stick with sketchup for now and see if I can make an arena

Modifications / How Do I Open GIB Files?
« on: February 21, 2020, 03:53:53 PM »
Most of the UI files are GIB files and Paint.net won't open them.
What do I use to access them?

Edit: Please move this to support as well as answer me lol

General Support / Using Blender For RA2
« on: February 09, 2020, 11:02:36 AM »
As Blender is free on Steam, it's ideal for me to use for creating meshes for RA2 which is something I've wanted to do since forever. Problem is, I have no idea what I'm doing on it apart from making various sized square or boxes.
Can anyone give me tips on how to use Blender and create Arenas?
